- I hope this helps anyone who is on the fence about shaving their head for a mohawk/deathhawk, or wants to be able to one without the commitment of having to shave your head!

Oh Awesome! I'm gonna try this out bc I'm def on the fence about shaving my head to achieve a deathhawk. I may even try adding leopard spots on the sides after gluing them back :P I get bored very easily so this idea is so brilliant.

Use strong Hair spray, LOL . Back in the day all you needed was a big can of Aquanet & a bottle of Bacardi Rum.
I remember Aquanet, it was basically shellac for your hair 😅
It wasn't the best but it was cheap, and when you literally go through a can every 2 or 3 times that you use it that's important.

🥺 Wish I saw this when I had a mohawk
My hairline is receding in the middle section so all I can do at this point is either a Devilock or a Bat's Nest hair. But I need a comb and hair spray to do it, which I definitely don't mind trying at one point, because Bat's Nest is my favorite Goth hair style. Damn hairline though, ugh.

Tbh I just shower to wash out the hairspray when I do liberty spikes and Mohawks then brush my hair out after it’s all dry. So much easier that way!

Hi small question here Doest it work for curly short hair ?
Depends on how short the hair is. It can work on curly hair but most likely will have a different look and can risk looking more like an Afrohawk than a usual deathhawk depending on how curly it is. Straightening it can also make it a little easier to work with, but it’s ultimately up to you and how you want it styled!
Would it be okay to use pomade on the sides?
If your hair is short enough that should work fine

Can you add gel as well or just hairspray?
Gel would most likely make it too heavy and slump over or fall apart after a while. If the gel is strong enough it might hold, but I think it would look less like a fluffy deathhawk and more like a typical mohawk. Also many hairsprays don’t work as well as Got2b hairspray since they tend to not dry as fast or be as light so that’s good to keep in mind too.

Hairspray is best in my experience gel made it heavy so it ended up looking like a wet look
What would you say is the best hair length for a death hawk? I think mine might be a bit to long to easily hawk
That all just depends on personal preference. I like them really long, but I also see most people making them shorter.

@@GrizzneyGames So don't do anything. In my opinion Faux Mohawk is for the faint-hearted. The person must have attitude and shave their sides.
