I'm getting a deathhawk on July 10th and I'm so excited. Just ordered some got2b spray and gel and a teasing comb on amazon. Cannot wait to try this. I had one side shaved but my hair is way too thick do to this as is.
@@cheerio1485 it was great! I was able to tease it up and it's also a lot easier to brush out at the end of the day. Though I think I might need a stronger hairspray....if I shake my head it turns into siouxsie hair. not necessarily a bad thing tho lmao
Well holy shit. I got the sides of my head shaved yesterday, and I'm looking for advice on how to style a deathhawk on youtube right now, and I was not expecting to find this. Apparently the reference picture I found on google images that I showed my stylist was a screenshot from this video. Bad ass. :)
I've been looking for a quicker way to style my mohawk into a sort of forward curving deathhawk but I've had some trouble because my hair is super thick. any tips?
late reply but if it helps mine is a bit longer than hers and about shoulder length when it's down. go SHORT bc a little goes a long way 🥰 hope this helped!

My hair looked great something like yours, like a mini Siouxsie and the Banshees look but I immediately lost many chunks of hair and it took a whole year to grow back. I was kinda sad and I am scared to lose hair again. I did it again recently and I still lost hair. I wanna do it again without repeating the mistake and losing tufts of hair. What am I doing wrong? I only use hairspray later when the hair is up, not even using any hair gel. Could I have sprayed too much hair spray towards the end? But it wouldn't hold up throughout the night, no? I''m not sure, please help. Thanks. I did it to my husband's hair, his hair was kinda limpy throughout the night but he didn't lose any hair. I did the same technique. My hair kinda lacks volume too so even if I don't wanna go for a big look, I would like to be able to do this hair everyday without losing hair. Thanks!

There's a lot of people who find a hair style put it in a community or what ever, when I asked this I wasn't wanting to be out of place. I never got the mohawk, but I did get a undercut and love it. I get now how it was a crazy question but I'm not a very confident person so I was wondering.
picklerick not saying it's the right answer but death hawk tends to be backcombed and big and fluffy. Mohawks are slender and flat. Just put up. No fluff. I hope this makes sense.

I just got a deathhawk today. I'm hoping it's this easy to style. My hair is really thin.
Hads I also have thin hair. Got 2 Be Glued Freezing spray works well for me.
I got both my sides shaved can't wait to style it like this!
So....which would you say is more important: the teasing/backcombing or the hair spray?
They're equal. The backcombing helps it stand up and the hairspray is what keeps it up

Does this work for Afro hair my hair type is 3C 4A have the sides shaved but every time I tease my hair it just turns into an Afro lolol

Gel would give a neater look like a mohawk if thats what youre going for, if you want it like this haircut you should go for hairspray
