Description:
CONTUR - documentary and musical project, which took place in December 2022 in frontline and liberated cities of Ukraine. A large team of musicians, public activists and documentaries went on tour of the wounded cities of Ukraine.
During the tour there were concerts from the band Stas Korolev and the project warnyakannya, performances by local and invited activists and shooting of 11 documentaries. In these videos there are stories of activists who are currently transforming their cities, building communities, developing culture and inspire incredibly.
Volodymyr Alekseev in peacetime was a professional musician and conductor of the orchestra, as well as an adviser to the head of the Nikolaev regional government Vitaly Kim. He took an active part in the development of musical life of the city, organizing various musical events. On February 24, 2022, everything changed. Volodymyr took the initiative to organize and gather people in order to help the military build checkpoints and defenses on the entrances to Mykolayev from the Kherson side as soon as possible. He now continues to volunteer and deliver humanitarian aid to deoccupied towns and villages in Mykolayiv and Kherson regions. He curates the activities of the volunteer center and the humanitarian center "DOF" in Mykolayiv.
