"It's INSULTING!" - Prince William Returns To Royal Duties After Princess Kate Cancer Diagnosis

- The Prince of Wales has spoken of his commitment to helping his wife through her cancer diagnosis when he received heartfelt cards of support for his wife and the King.
William appeared touched by the messages from volunteer Rachel Candappa, who was working at a food distribution charity the royal visited in Surrey.
When she asked about Kate, telling him to “take care of her”, William replied: “I will.”
The future King smiled, joked and appeared relaxed as he toured Surplus to Supper, based in Sunbury-on-Thames, his first public event since Kate announced she is being treated for cancer.
He learnt about the charity’s work suppling foodbanks and other organisations with donated produce, toiletries and meals made on site.
William washed his hands and donned an apron to chop celery for a huge meal of chilli-con-carne which will feed hundreds, and joined a van crew delivering food to a nearby organisation.
Kate announced almost a month ago she has begun receiving cancer treatment in an emotional video that received widespread praise for its candid nature.
JJ Anisiobi blasts the prince for “only just” returning to royal duties, when British carers have to work and look after their loved ones at the same time.

For the past several months, I have tried to give JJ a fair and objective review. But the vitriol that he includes in his commentary regarding the RF members, with the exception of the two residents of California, is just too one-sided and biased without any foundation, except for the apparent high dislike that JJ has for the RF. I certainly support his right to express his opinion. But there is a way to express a different opinion without attacking the individual personally. I had high hopes for a measured, well reasoned, and different viewpoint that informed rather than disparaged and provided a needed balance on occasion. I will not be watching this show in the future.

Unlike H&M, Prince William did NOT bring an entourage and try to make this a pr stunt. Simply a dad taking his son to a game and he can't help if the media makes it a big deal. However, many people will think it a big deal as it's one of the first public outings with his children since Catherine's illness.
The things the royals do, like Princess Anne digging a hole for a tree or William chopping celery is NOT to make a big deal about their activities. It is a big deal for the volunteers or workers, I'm sure, to get a visit from the working royals. And it does serve well to highlight the charities and what they do. There is zero ego in the work that the current royals do. Sure, it's a bit ceremonial, but it always comes across as genuine and interested and, for the current royal family members, not at all self-serving.
Less or none of JJ, please. It's not an educated alternate point of view. It's just anti-royal family because that's JJ's gimmick that gets him attention. It's the same reason that he's a H&M fan ... for no logical reason.
