In the last 200 years her ancestors likely lived in Greater London and Dublin, whether she's related to royalty has yet to be determined, but 200 years later, she's in Los Angeles, California, where royalty and celebrity mix more than you'd think.

Queen Elizabeth was my 14th cousin, 2x removed. Related through Robert the Bruce, (1274 - 1329), King of Scotland. He was my 19th great-grandfather. His daughter married a Stewart which led to the Stewart part of the Scottish Royal family, and then to present day British Royal family.
Also Queen Camilla, 16th cousin, 1x removed. Through Alice Edmonstone, long-time mistress of King Edward VII.
And your favourite, Kinsey, I am related to Diana, Princess of Wales. She is my 13th cousin through Lady Elizabeth Jane Spencer (my 11th great-grandmother). Lady Elizabeth's brother, Sir John Spencer was Diana's 11th great-grandfather.

Kia ora, My family are related to the Stuart/Stewart royal line through my mothers side of the family. At the end of the day we are all probably related to each other if you go back far enough.
I heard through the grapevine that King Edward III certainly "got around a bit" back in those days. It appears every second person with English ancestry, and their dog, is related to him.
And they don't boast about it.

Queen Elizabeth ll, is my 10th cousin, once removed. Through her Maternal line. Princess Diana, is also my 10th cousin once removed, through her Paternal line. Marilyn Monroe, Elvis Presley, John Wayne, Lucille Ball, Kathryn Hepburn, Walt Disney, Shirley Temple, and quite a few others are cousins.
Seeing this tells me we are related. Honestly. Lady Diana 10th cousin, Queen Elizabeth 10th cousin once removed. The rest are all distant cousins as well. All of them. One or two would be something, but for ALL of them to be there it tells me we are probably fairly closely related, or have a LOT of common ancestors.

You are definitely one of my favorite Royal watchers. You apologized for getting emotional talking about Catherine's diagnosis but I thought the genuine outpouring was just an example of how lovely you are inside and out.
The most entertaining thing I've found getting my DNA checked is 23&Me telling me I have more Neanderthal DNA than 97% of other 23&Me customers 😂. That is apparently why I can't run long distances and why I have trouble discarding rarely used things. Must be why they died out. They were too weighed down with all their crap and the predators could far outrun them.

I couldn't understand how I was so extremely British when I did my DNA. Especially because, according to Ancestry a lot of my relatives crossed the pond in the 16 & 1700's. I do have a Welsh 2nd great grandfather that only came over between 1869 & 72 but so many others had been here 100's of years.
Hopefully there weren't too many kissing cousins.😂

I was disappointed at first there wasn't some more variety, even if its just more european varieties. But now I take it as a good thing cause I can take a British Isles vacation and visit areas most of my dna originated which is more fascinating to me than it probably should be.
Closest Royal connections I've found are some people with titles here and there and a group that were in with HenryVIII. Keeper of his falcons and some other stuff. Its all fascinating if true.

My Father’s side goes back to a Roman Senator in France, French nobility (Rollo for one) & English (John of Gaunt) as well as European royalty (Charlemagne). My Mother’s…English (Mary Tudor, Queen of France) and a Scot King.
Queen Elizbeth is 11th cousin, Diana is 9th cousin, Ann Boylan was 14 Great Aunt, Mary Boleyn, 14th great aunt and Henry the eighth is possibly is 14 great grand father due to his relationship to Mary Boleyn.

My second cousin, Autumn Kelly, married Peter Phillips, Princess Anne's son, so I am third cousins with Savannah wn Isla, their children. I am also 12th cousins wth Angelina Jolie through her French- Canadian mother, as well as Madonna and Celine Dion.
We discovered we share a 14 great grandma with Princess Diana - so I guess I share a 15 great grandma with Prince William. Have no idea what kind of "cousins" that makes us. What fun!

Hi Kinsey. Well, you asked and now you will receive it. I am an adopted kid who is now a senior. I ordered Ancestry when I knew the name and made contact with my blood parents. I am the great-granddaughter of the French king and house of Valois. I am also great-granddaughter to the Scottish Stuarts going back to Robert the Bruce. I am also greatdaughter to the Tudors....all of them with names of Margaret Beaufort, King Edward 2. King Charles of Scotland and Queen Elizabeth1...all great-granddaughters. I am also related as a great-grandaughter to Catherine de Medici married to King Henry of France. The name Cromwell comes up and many were on the Mayflower from Cornwall. I do intersect the Spencer line through the life of Mary Queen of Scots. My English line goes back as far as King Alfred. The Royal Line of Prince William and Harry is also in the 9th century with me. I have hardly completed all of it mainly because I need history books now to help me go further back. Ancestry has taken a look for me to see if I am right and they say YES.....I have all of this Royalty and I live in Canada. There are some names .....there are way more. BTW...no one in Windsor has offered me a key to a Royal Castle. 😃of course I range from 15 time removed to 23 times removed. That is the crux of the matter.
