      Something a little bit different and works brilliantly, especially in clear water

      Glad you enjoyed it!
      Liquidised corn can be brilliant, especially when the water goes colder and clearer.
      It does get used a bit on the pole but it's something a little different on a feeder.
      Try blending it then put it into a sports lid type bottle, that way you can squirt it out into a pot or feeder without any mess..... You might need to widen the hole in the lid a little bit though so it comes out properly

    Think that fish at 14’30ish had hooked itself on the way down, you must of clipped the part showing slotting the feeder holes. Great insight 👍

      Hi dave, That's the beauty of the slightly longer hooklengths with that type of feeder, chance of a really quick bite.
      My camera mustnt have been recording when I recorded the feeder bit as I couldn't find it 😂.... I tried to out a picture in to show how it looked instead

    Been digging around some old tackle boxes for feeders as tend to use pole most of the time. Found some old green plastic maggot feeders with the caps at both ends. Do people still use those? I remember back int he day we use to run the line through them to a couple line stoppers, size 14 hook, double maggot or double corn and catch skimmers and roach all day. Obviously must be more technical now I guess? Thanks, Mark

      Still very similair to be honest Mark.
      I totally forgot the bit on my set up on the video but I use a drennan carp maggot feeder with is just an old style plastic maggot feeder set up om a free running rig with an 18inch hooklength and a 16 hook. Nothing fancy!
      All the older methods still work they re sometimes just a bit overlooked

      I’ve only started match fishing at a very basic level and I know swimfeeders need to be in the armoury but If fish have left my swim on a pole then I’m probably not going to chuck out a method feeder and sit the in the hope of a hail mary carp jumping onto my hook. I would probably trust a maggot feeder to put silvers and skimmers (maybe bonus small carp) in my net than a lucky whale of a carp. Probably won’t frame with that attitude I guess but would rather catch something and put pressure on others than sit there and watch others catching and become depressed lol.

    Hi adam, can you use this method for bream and skimmers because I fish a huge reservoir.

    • @AdamRichardsFishing
      @AdamRichardsFishing  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi David.
      You could try it but to be honest it wouldn't be my first choice, I'd probabaly be looking at fishing a groundbait feeder or maybe a method feeder if they see lots of fishmeal type baits
