Darzi was appointed a director of NHS Improvement in 2015. He is therefore passing judgement on a period for which he had board level responsibilities to improve things. How is this report therefore independent?

they are not using it for free, they pay health surcharge - £1035 - for every year they are staying in the UK - and majority of them are young healthy working adults who don't need to see doctors often. NHS is still only free for British people.
i doubt starmer knows what's the real problems in NHS. he keeps putting the blame on conservatives. he has not mentioned how to fix it, and what needs to be done to fix. reform is just slogan without substance. honestly, they get to learn from Singapore/Taiwan/Japan and see how they manage the public health care.
