Worked with a young guy who dropped a gearbox, cracked the casting, was an expensive replacement. Could have been worse, a valve cover is pretty cheap :)
The most important things being that nobody got hurt (aside from his pride) and it was a very understanding customer with his own history of unmitigated disasters, so no angry customer or negotiations to deal with...just order the parts and get things fixed and all will be well and the young helper got a very memorable life lesson that will stick with him for the rest of his life.

I have 2 two car garages and always own between 3 to 5 cars which my wife and I drive. I do my own car repair and only one time since our 1983 marriage have all 3 of our cars been inoperable at the same time. It's the best argument for *NEVER OWNING ONLY 3 CARS!!!* :-)

My mechanic dropped a transmission on his hand, I never knew bones can be so white
I dropped an airbag with a connector still attached and ruined the connector. Shit happens. Order parts, and fix it.

They have built in locks, so not really that dangerous - it's not just the hydraulics holding the car up.

I just had this dream while taking a nap on the couch just now that hoovie bought some mid ninties ford bronco and had the Wizard do an engine and transmission swap. The engine was a huge V8, I'm not sure how many cubic inches it was and the transmission was a 10 speed auto and the engine was turbo charged. It had 853 horsepower and well over a thousand foot pound of torque.

As someone who builds computers, I appreciate Wizard's all-encompassing knowledge. When people look at the computers I build, they're like "what? you MADE that?!" No, I didn't. I just know how it works and how to put the pieces together. The Wizard is just another level up. I love cars, but I couldn't tell a spark plug from a head bolt. This is something I'd like to change. TEACH ME DADDY.

Jr Mint is a hottie. I am saddened by how few teens are interested in getting under the hood. I am in my early 60's & started working on friends/neighbors/family members cars when i was 13. Having a genius I.Q. helped. At that age I was doing oil changes, car stereo/ speaker installations. At 15 I was doing tune ups which back then were plugs, points, condenser, distributor cap & wires. Then I moved on to Alternators, fuel pumps, power steering pumps & hoses, Water pumps & hoses, Brake master cylinders & brake shoes/ discs... I've swapped out a few engines & trannys. I've jerry rigged exhaust systems...........Rock on, Jr. Mint!
You sir, are going to be the person singlehandedly responsible for putting Wizard on the top of Fortune 500 list.
