I have retired from the advising industry - financial advisor not a CFA or CFP. My wife has decided to retire early at 55, I’ll be 72 at the time. She has charged me to come up with a plan of action. This video is very helpful to my task. Thx.
I have been an advisor for almost 20 years and I love your content Dave! I feel privileged to work in an industry which is full of helpful people who give up their time so generously to help other advisors
I am a relatively new Junior Advisor (24 y/o) going through a lot of the usual young advisor struggles. I found your page today and it has really encouraged me mentally to stick with the process. Really great videos.
This is helpful. The study material for the series 65 was seriously lacking on what we are supposed to do. It was mostly focused on securities law and general Wall Street economics. This investment advisor path reminds me of the mortgage broker license: we are taught mortgage law but never instructed on how to actually broker a loan. Both of these are cryptic career paths.
Excellent video on the “value add “ proposition, relative to the cost! Has a reverse mortgage advisor to seniors, there is a big confusion as to the FHA insurance premium versus the protections it provides. Your value proposition is my go to conversation to address this point.
Thank you! I am a career changer just starting out and am a sponge for all of the information I can get in order to help people because that is why I am making this career change.
Thank you! I’m about to graduate college and have a career as a Financial Rep and Advisor lined up. I’ve been using your vids as guidelines for how I’ll succeed. I greatly appreciate you giving us insight based on your own experiences and what works. Keep ‘em coming!
Dave, thank you for the videos. We are taking a look at this process for our practice after 24 years and this has been helpful. Do you send this document to existing clients every year?
