Uglies by Westerfeld (so I can watch the Netflix series), Belladonna by Adalyn Grace, butcher & blackbird by Brynne Weaver, the ghostbride by yangsze choo, and the fifth book I’m still up in the air as to what to pick. I’m reading so many good series.. maybe a book 2 or 3 or 4 etc.. of something I’m already into.
At the start of your book era I was not really into it because I loved your workout videos and vlogs, but I'm currently in my reading era again and I can share your excitement about books, so now I'm really into your book videos 😊 currently reading the 3rd book of The Century Trilogy of Ken Follett and loving it 🥰
Yup, tbr videos are becoming a favourite. 😊😊 Currently on my tbr are Assistant to the villain, A sorceress comes to call and the love of my after life.
i just read my first stephen king last month too!! ended up reading two, i really liked his writing intrigued to see how you go with fairytale and i might pick that one up next!!
Throne of the Fallen is a spin off of the Kingdom of the Wicked series! You don’t need to read it in order to read TOTF, but it does spoil the trilogy. Also, TOTF is the first in a series, but I believe they’re interconnected standalones. I also have this one on my TBR! Haven’t read it though because I’m intimidated 🤭
Also, P.S. KOTW is an amazing trilogy and I love it so much. I’m assuming the TOTF series is going to be 6 books long, following each of the princes of hell (KOTW has prince Wrath, so I don’t think he’ll get his own book in the series)
Your hair looks really good. My October TBR includes Carmilla by Joseph Sheridan Le Fanu, Goth by Otsuichi, You Like It Darker by Stephen King, The Secret Society of Irregular Witches by Sangu Mondanna, Crowns Vs Spiders by Jeff Strand, and Oryx and Crake by Margaret Atwood. Mostly Halloween related. There are more, but I might not get to them
This is such a brilliant idea!! I’ve been in the world of Elin Hilderbrand…It’s kind of beach book vibes…But the stories are really great…One of them was just made into a Netflix series! (Murder mystery called the Perfect Couple)
Are there any series that you could wrap up with one book? Perhaps a finish series video is needed? Also, love your hair. Gorgeous as always Jaime. I've been wanting to get into Stephen King. Perhaps I'll read some in October as well.
I was hoping this was the moment What the River Knows was going to be selected 😂 I get it though, having too many series going at once is a lot especially when they have a lot of similarities . My book club just chose to read “The Very Secret Society of Irregular Witches” Super excited!
I just read: incidents around the house. It was supposed to be for my october tbr but I couldn’t wait 😅 it was so scary!! I had fun. I’m gonna start heartless hunter ❤
I have that same problem. I have way too many series unfinished. Ugh. I need a month dedicated to sequels in series….or maybe just buckling down and finishing 1 or two whole series in a month
I recently discovered you channel, since i also just started my reading era😊 love your videos and your reviews and your recommendation! Keep them coming! Not sure about my whole October TBR, but i will for sure include Phantasma, Anathema and Metal Slinger 🤗
@jaimefok honestly, it's a tiny bit too cutesy for me, and I'm growing to realise that I'm not a fan of third-person descriptions 😅. But the fall vibe is 10/10 lol
All of your talk of series in this one got me curious about how many I'm currently in the middle of. I'm currently reading 20 series, but of those only 5 are complete - the others are all waiting on new releases before I can contribute. Then there are another 4 of those 20 that I've decided not to continue. The majority of my TBR is new series though, so I expect that number to continue to increase 😅
I am hoping my library hold for The Academy For Liars by Alexis Henderson and A Guest in the House by E.M. Carroll will become available in October. Those are the only books that I have set to read for this month. The latter is a graphic novel so that should be available soonish.
So I haven't read fairy tale but I highly recommend the eyes of the dragon? By Stephen King. It's such a good fantasy with a little creepy and everything gets resolved. It's about a king and his family and a very questionable wizard? Who advises the royal family.
Warning: knowing your reading taste am telling you , you would hate rule of aurora king .because of random unnecessary spice, just for the sake of spice. Everything is at high stakes nd then its just smut.
What’s on your OCTOBER TBR? 👻🎃
Here is springtime, soooo I'm reading some romances 😅❤
Love your Chanel, Jaime!
