Wow, this was BEAUTIFUL! that very beginning spark of feelings at this tender age, easily buried under expectations and fear. Both girls took small steps in allowing themselves a moment to feel what they feel, but of course still too young and stopped by some internal fear from going further. Very true to a lot of our young queer experiences. These actors were so wonderful and subtle in their portrayal and delivered exactly what it feels like to be about 13 and uncovering new feelings. Fantastic!!
Most young girls create very close emotional friendships. do you not think it's dangerous promoting this stuff to easily led minors, where they can mix up strong friendship feelings with being bi or lesbian? I wonder how many young girls having a sleepover do things, then years later regret it!

Maybe youre comparing this to films that span over much longer time frames, where more things can happen in a romance.

we don't need younger people to be indulged in sexual stuff. this is actually keeping it clean and pure as we all experience when we are younger, confused, trying to figure ourselves out and not sexual in that way but just pure feelings as beings. not everything in media needs to portray what you want it to at the age you are. Generations have their own rights to figure themselves out themselves without media telling them otherwise.
