    This animation is NOT of the Lichfield and Hatherton canal reimplementation, but only of a small heavily necked down section compared to the much wider more basin like section before the right turn. It's hard to understand what is going on with the various paths and tall grass apparently in the canal waterway. The railway side of the canal has the path divide into two and then come back together again apparently for no reason. The far path forms a dogleg coming back to meet the towpath with a very wide nearly perpendicular connection. This might be ideal if this was coming to an overhead bridge to cross the canal. The lead up to it could then be used to gain elevation, but that doesn't seem to be the case. The towpath comes right up to the water's edge which is disliked by many canal boaters which prefer to have a strip of land frequently maintained as a grassed area that allows easy spiking for attaching their boats. There is a sharp inner corner in the canal at it passes through the 90° turn. That that inner corner should be rounded to better aid canal boats making the turn.
    Directly across from this junction is a wondering S-curve boardwalk over a watered section of canal with tall grass. This S-curved boardwalk over watered areas of the canal sticks out as an aberration because it bears no semblance to the navigation spirit of the canal's structures. Where is there an S-curved walkway taking up space in a watered section of the UK's historic navigation canals? I don't thing there is anything representative of such a structure anywhere in the canal network and there shouldn't be.
    To the minds eye this section of canal reconstruction has structures that are an impairment to navigation focused canal use. It maybe just somebody's idea of entertaining structures showing no relevance to the history and efforts involved and massive dedication needed to reimplement and operate the historic canal network. It's hard to understand how the canal's geometry and support structures are in deed focused on support of canal operations in this section. If the doglegged section of path was used to gain elevation and lead onto an overhead bridge crossing of the canal in this area the layout would make a lot more sense.

    I was expecting an animation of the whole stretch and not just repeating the same bit. Shame really. That would have been better.
