One of my favourite things was the fireworks display each year at Stowe Pool. Sadly they stopped doing it a few years ago, (although it was transferred to Beacon Park for a while). I have fond memories of finding a place next to the pool just as it was getting dark as a young child, (that was roughly between about 1985 and 1993).

Lived and loved in Lich for over a decade. The Cathedral is beautiful as are Minster and Stowe Pool. Tremendous history!

I would have been twenty two back then, confirmed in Lichfield Cathedral 1984. How things used to be in young adulthood!
