12:20 That's a torn UCL (ulnar collateral ligament ) Good luck with your recovery. Take it slow and treat it well.. Don't move it and Massage it. After a while you will feel better. Like a year or so.
36:12 come on Keith… the saws a legit move, and Kevin was clearly attempting to pin Alex hand. Meanwhile you missed Kevin’s elbow hops though, which is what should’ve been called.…
I train with Alex and still he shocks me with how tenacious he is when in a losing position no kings move just pure American horsepower I didn't see a lot of his left hand matches but it seemed he had a easy day on the left
@@alexcartwright1460yeah I agree it should have been a restart… just for a different reason than what Keith called. I can’t believe he said you were being shoved…. I’ll call refs out for making the wrong calls and hope others would do the same when I’m reffing if I mess up! Not saying that you should’ve lost by any means though, you were clearly the best in the class. Congrats on your titles!
5:26 This is considered a losing position? He was already quite close to the pad, that's true. But it seemed to me that he was holding him in that position in a fairly controlled manner and that he was about to tire him out. Would have been interesting to see how the match ended.
Hey 217, what size lens do you use for filming these events? I use a 16mm-55mm but I feel like a 10mm-20mm will make me not stay as far from the table?
16-55mm… that sounds like a popular crop sensor focal length range. So you’re at a 24-82mm full frame equivalent. I miss my zoom lenses and 24-70mm was my go to for a loooong time. I’ve changed my rig over the last year into something compact, lighter, and still record the same. My current full gram lens is the 20mm f1.8 G Lens. You’d have to be down in the 11mm or 12mm range. But yeah 20mm is way more forgiving without it looking too fisheye. I’ve thought about switching to the 16-35 f2.8 G Master but I’d be losing some low light potential.
@@TwoOneSe7en sounds good man… appreciate the reply. I’ll stick to the lens I got then until I can get a better camera. I seen some videos creators that have crazy fish eye lens.. Don’t like that at all. Keep up the videos they’re great.
19:48 this is a Complete Bicep tear. He was using his Medial Epicondyle as leverage point. He hyper extended his Bicep and it popped. Requires Surgery or adequate function will not return.

Lots of good matches. Match at 35:49 was a banger. That transition to the press was nasty.🎉

Great video. You don’t often see Mike Hitt break his focus. Dude was tough!
