I was bored so I decided to put TH-cam and a good pair of headphones, at that age I was struggling with depression and existential thoughts by the way, and then scrolling and scrolling I found a video with the title "With This Knife" and I thought: That title is so hard for a song, maybe the song is deep, so I clicked it, and wow... Was so, so harmful (I'm not saying that the song is bad but it is so deep and sad that becomes in certain moments harmful but I still listen to it currently) and I liked so much Sean Danielsen vocals and central theme of the song that made me feel ravenous for more of the band, so I discovered "Silhouettes, Bottom of a Bottle," Smile Empty Soul self titled album, Anxiety, Consciousness, 3's and fan 'till this day... Man... Due to this band I started my own, those song just made me stronger, Those songs made me strong, capable, decisive and passionate for real, Smile Empty Soul are my favourites, peace and love for every fan out there!! ... If he died their cds would start selling like mad. People dont take this band for granted. I haven't found a single person I personally know that won't at the very least admit that Smile Empty Soul is a talented band. Maybe the problem isn't them at all, maybe it's that you care too much what they think, when they are obviously too shallow to deserve it. The only people who don't like SES are those who've never really listened to them. Even my grandmother likes some of their songs, and she's been a great-grandmother for 5 years now and grew up on old country.
Though im not sure if theyre still together, its a great thing that their music was able to get you through your hardest times and you should always have pride in saying that. That tat prob looks sick as well!
i got all their albums and two different anxiety cd's sadly not the original jewel case one.. consciousness is bad ass and vultures is a great album too!
As long as we believe that our intentions tie along with it. it may seem impossible but try v=changing ur beliefs for a while. if ur persistant enough with them results will follow. You just need to want it..
