▸ The Predator WPA Men’s World 10-Ball Championship 2023 is an annual event organised by CueSports International and Predator Group. The event is sanctioned by the World Pool-Billiard Association (WPA) and takes place during the CueSports International Expo in Las Vegas.
▸ 128 players will compete for a total prize fund of $250,000 with $60,000 to be awarded to the winning player.
▸ The Predator Pro Billiard Series is a series of open, professional events held around the world to provide more opportunities for professional and aspiring pool players to compete in high-quality events, earn more income, sharpen their skills, and earn their way into the Predator World 10-Ball Championship held in Las Vegas each year as part of the CueSports International Expo.

Selected random thoughts i had while watching:
1) 00:44 (10 seconds duration) As always, i knew i wanted Joven Bustamante to lose this match as soon as i saw him cheat with this (WPA-illegal) lag.
2) 20:44 (5 seconds duration) This, too, is illegal under WPA rules. I guess this tournament chose its WPA rules _'à la carte.'_
3) 42:47 (7 seconds duration) _Why weren't we shown an overhead view of this shot_ (so we could watch for 'rail contact after the hit')?
4) 51:09 (24 seconds duration) I've seen this happen *SO* often: an excellent player misses a shot like this to the corner pocket that he/she wouldn't normally miss. And, i'm of the firm belief that they're distracted by the camera being directly in their line of sight of the shot. There's no good reason why the camera needs to be there during shots like this. Kaci's reaction makes clear that he's disgusted about _something_ involving that shot. I'm not automatically inclined to believe that it's his performance.
5) 55:14 (5 seconds duration) Wow. He missed this shot by a country light year. Maybe he shouldn't use the name 'Bustamante' until he can use it without defacing it.

First shot I look at was Joven’s lag. That cue ball rolled off 4-5” in just the lag! Last match Le Van Corteza motioned over and over that the tv table was rolling every way possible.

Apex tables have level issues, this ain't the first time this happened, bad for predator.
