I hate it when old people take advantage of others just because of their age. The worst part is, it works. One time a few years back, I was practicing golf, and two old guys stole the small pile of balls I was using for chipping and claimed it was theirs. I tried to tell them it was mine, but they deluded themselves into thinking the pile was theirs. I just left all pissed and told my parents and they said, "Yup, sometimes old people will take advantage of you"
The thing I learned from this is just "have proof of everything that happened". Because if the kid had filmed the trash nd the situation over there he probably could've gotten the school into trouble for putting a student's health at risk (i'm no lawyer or sth but i think if he had himself some proof he could've gotten himself a solid case 🤔)
That’s a 84 year old man criticizing a young person about “cleaning” when he can’t even take the time to grab a broom and sweep, Look hoarders are bad but it’s nothing compared to that old man, if anything Op can sue that man for blackmail and emotional trauma and All the proof he needs is either pictures of that mans house and video evidence.
I feel like a school has to have proof to expell, just ask for evidence and if they don't provide it then they can't expell them and if they do then sue.
Numerous things he could have done. He could have secretly recorded the confrontation with his neighbor, he could have pointed out that a dead cats body was in there so the decomposition process could not have possibly been fast enough for it to have happened in a day while he was supposedly knocking down everything, He could have pointed out the contents of the trash itself saying that if there was this much day to day items inside for this to be the remains of wreckage. But it’s sad that he didn’t, would have loved to hear a revenge story, been a whole lot of satisfaction.

Fun story: A couple years ago I got a new bike. When I got to my house, an apartment complex, I took it out for a ride. I make a couple laps around the complex and I bump into two young girls hitting a tree with the neon orange poles used to signal the snow plowers where the roads are. I bike past them and they look at me with a strange glare. I take a couple laps later they gain the confidence to say "hi stranger!". I reply with a hi and continue biking. After a while they get angry for some reason at me. They start chasing me with the neon sticks and I was able to out bike them. After I lose them I continue biking. Five minutes later I see the same girls on scooters trying to catch up with me. They shout out to get off of their property and I stop and walk towards them. They say things like to get off their property and other things. To remind you this was a apartment complex that was shared by everyone. At some point these little girls threatened call the police. I taunt them and say yeah sure. Anyways I thought that the girl was going to bring out some toy phone but no! The girl brought the latest iPhone at the time and threatened to dial nine one one. At this point I walk away and they yell at me"youre gay" and I continue walking back to my house. An hour or so later I got back out and started biking and I walk my bike into the lot. And I see the little girls scooting towards me with scooters and yelling. One of them was bold enough to try and ram me. I put my foot out and stop the scooter from hitting me. I hop onto the bike and tried to bike away and one of the girls grabbed the orange sticks and stuck one into the spokes of my tires. The bike stops and I am launched on to the asphalt as I hear a shattering sound. I look back to see the condition of my bike and I see that there was a bunch of shattered plastic on the ground and I looked tye wheel it was pretty messed up.i go back to my house and got my mother. She talks to the girls parent and got then to apologize. In summary little girls threatened to call the police on me and vandalized my bike.
Im just saying, I don't know when this story takes place but if its a modern situation If I were in the kid's shoes I'd take my smart phone and put it on record and stick it in my pocket to try to bait the guy into admitting on audio recording that he made the story up. Show that to my parents and head right down to the school play the recording. If I were like the subscriber and I hated the private school, I am just not going to slide or be ok with some cranky sociopath lying and trying to slander my good name.

"Silent lunch" is actually a privilege for me. But to sum this comment up, I don't think I want to go back to school. But maybe I should just so to have some communication skills.
