Both are good TVs. Vu Masterpiece has more brightness and 120 Hz refresh rate, which is suitable for even hardcore gaming but nonetheless Sony Bravia 3 is an excellent TV fully apt for your purpose

Moreover it has acoustic dolby sound so you dont need any sound bar to buy! Picture quality is pretty good under good litter room !

Don't go by the same model numbers being sold abroad, they are different from their Indian counterparts. In India Sony Bravia 7 will be the successor to X90L.

You said it has 2.1 hdmi port, generally 2.1 means 120hz, is it not the case here, is 2.1 only due to ALLM?
