I literally cannot stop watching this scene oh my god. I love that they get to be together, and I love what Chris will be doing, but Chris is such a versatile character with SO MANY SKILLS that as long as she stays I’ll personally be okay with that.
Oh dear ,last day ,last episode ,she's gonna get the end of season bullet! cue several months of is she dead /alive more pained moments for Street and the gang . But pulls thru miraculously in next season . Plus perfect opportunity for Hondo to mention "stay strong " and "SWAT is a family".
My husband thinks that something bad will happen to Chris and it will impact Street next season. I told him I hope not I have waited to long for Stris.

I read the comments and my opinion is Chris isn't going to die but she still be in series but we are not going to see her but just hear her mentioned by street whenever he sees her. The writers said it's sorta of farewell. I think she will come back probably later before series end.
Yeah I think it's a hard one a depends on if Lina is coming back... like if she becomes recurring we might see her in a few eps... but if she leaves completely then she dies or is off screen which is worse for SWAT. No Chris in SWAT at all is a big gamble..
@@issyikhis3449 I don't think she dies because the writers said it is sort of a farewell not necessary and at the end, they all were celebrating, don't think an important character like her would kill off the scene, she still has a relationship with street off scene that the writers don't know how fans will react and to me that what he is talking about in my opinion. We hear street talk about her but would not see her until she could return that is what they are doing. It's my theory. Fans can be upset if Chris leaves the show but if they choose to keep her character relevant through Street by having an off-scene relationship is good with me. Chris looks comfortable and in love for the first time in5 years, it's Joyful to watch her so content.😁
@@keshonrobertson1436 yeah but in my experience that's when they kill off the character.. did that a lot in greys anatomy and station 19.. Veronica Mars (that basically killed the show) when they are happy. Writers love a twisted story..The only reason I will think they will hesitate is because Stris is a big following... look how much the possibility in s5 increased the viewers. Her being off screen doesn't work either because the Stris interaction was what fans wanted. Unless they come out and say "Lina needs X amount of wks for a project". It's going to get less interesting if she is gone most of the time... so losing Stris and Chris will be a problem I think.

Theory: Luca is hurt (see photo of him in the back of the ambulance) and can no longer be on SWAT. He asks Chris to stay so that the team doesn’t lose two of them at once. Luca helps with the safe house, Chris stays on SWAT and, most importantly, Stris 🥰
That’s a great theory…but Luca is like the big brother to Tan, Chris and Street and equals to Hondo and Deacon if he does truely leave I’d miss him. He’s such a great character.
