SAILING AGAIN - SwT 186 - WILL I SET A NEW PERSONAL RECORD?

- In this episode, I am setting sail again, this time toward Bali Indonesia. This is a 628 nautical miles solo sail nonstop, and it looks like I will arrive in Bali on the exact same date I left Panama 12 months ago. Meaning I can look back at 11705 nautical miles in the last 12 months.
Timor Leste has been such a beautiful experience but it's time to move on. My long-stay visa is waiting for me in Bali, and I also have lots of things to sort out. The weather window this time is just perfect and will give me a very pleasant sail for a change.
I cant wait to explore Bali and to finally get som rest and not having any stress with visa rules and scheduels for a while.

ABOUT THIS CHANNEL:
I'm a sailor with a TH-cam channel and not a TH-camr. Sailing around the world in a Bavaria 55 Cruiser mostly solo, making videos whenever we have time for it.
Comfortable at sea with 4 decades of sailing experience and hundreds of thousands of miles behind me.
Even though this is season 6 on TH-cam I did not make that many videos in the beginning, and obviously not from my entire sailing life. Before full-time sailing 6 years ago, I sailed several seasons in the Mediterranean, and obviously also in Scandinavia. I had my first sailboat at age 7 and have been sailing and racing ever since. Also, more than 10 years of experience as a captain in Search and Rescue at sea in Norway.

11,705 nautical miles in 12 months, you should have sailmakers chomping at the bit to furnish you sails! I challenge sailmakers around the world to step up. Doyle, Precision, North, Rolly Taskers, Quantum, UK Halsey, Mack, Hood, and many more I didn't mention including the many independent sailmakers around the world get your name out there on the sea with a sailor not a TH-cam primadonna in dental floss swimwear. Beautiful light wind sailing. Sad that the only sail left is the genny but you are still moving and that's good.
New sails and maybe a used spare sail or two?
Like spare fuel cans it is nice to have a few spare sails on hand just in case.
Light wind in chappy seas is not so nice and peaceful.

So many miles but so many epic spots missed 😢 seen 15knots of southern flow current in both channels opposite lombok and some huge whirlpools and stationary waves ..pretty impressive 👍🍻

Turn down the sesnitivity on autopilot so it dosent correct all the time

If you ever need some temp crew, I'd love to give you some of my time, I'm a retired Tugboat captain and your living my dream, I'm even of mostly Norwegian heritage, never been seasick, but I know nothing about sailing other than the navigational aspect. Either way, I'll be watching, I really enjoy your channel !
