Hello Sally. Hess’s and Leh’s department stores were indeed in Pennsylvania. My mother in law worked for Leh’s in the 60s through the 80s. I worked both stores at Christmas back in the 80s. I do believe both are closed now.

That Lion necklace that said, Avon could be Boucher. I was watching another jewelry channel and she said that M Boucher created jewelry under 3 different names. One of them was a name that had Avon on it. There will be a number on the piece of jewelry along with the Avon name. Just FYI. I really like your channel.
