I just finished her first book which is absolutely amazing and now just ordered this book from Amazon. Talk about a beacon of hope. There are so many inspirational moments in her first book, it's simply amazing.

Why wouldn’t they love you if and when you returned ....what a weird thing to say...she phrases it like she planned to run away at that time. She talks the talk but she’s not really that intelligent..something doesn’t add up. Never has in my opinion .

When something traumatic happens in life everything is surely questioned again and our mind is trying to make reason. 'Normal' teenagers those who are feeling unfit or not fitting question the love of parents and friends, sometimes even wondering if they are not adopted. So I cannot image why we would not question everything once we have been crushed and abused? She is brilliant and has managed to turn her life around, be proud, hold her head up and turn a horrendous shattering episode in her life into a success. She and many other amazing women are role models and we should have deep respect for them.

She was afraid that because she'd been raped & felt like "damaged goods" that her parents would reject her. You have to understand that Mormons are taught that sex outside of marriage is a grave sin. Read about the stories of how Mormon kids are given the "licked cupcake" lesson or the "chewed gum" lesson & the like.

Fuck you, I bet you’re the kind of creep that kidnaps little girls like her. Or you WOULD if you weren’t too weak to overpower a 14 year old. Stop victim blaming.
