I have a hisense and I have the same problem everytime I switch it on it reads on the display E2...I kept shaking machine and kept switching it on and off but it kept giving the E2 message on display will try this tomorrow...

Is it safe to bypass the door switch?
No it's not bro...
Try to Dismantle the switch then clean it with WD-40 then try it. Coz some time bcoz of rust, it doesn't work so you can repair it.
