Beautiful new sewing room! Please make more videos! And please make more videos about 1930's fashions. I can never get enough 1930's, and I love your style.
Your makeover turned out so nice! The closet is so much more functional. I love seeing other people’s sewing spaces. It’s so interesting to see how other people organize all the bits and bobs.
I, too, have more than one side to my sewing room. The worst side is behind my sewing chair -- and I hate it. I don't quite know what to do about it, but something has to be done. Love room make-over videos, too. I had a similar experience with the white wire closet units. One was in my original master bedroom closet, and one day, the bottom shelf fell, followed a few months later, by the top shelf. Nicely done!
Your made-over sewing room looks awesome! It has such character and a real feeling of timelessness. Well done 👍🏻 I’m very envious of your closet space! I don’t even have half as much!
I really like room makeover videos and this was great. Now that you can store all your costumes in the closet that really frees up so much space in the room! I love the green, it really feels like a Victorian-Queen-Anne-style color.
this video is super helpful because i plan on purchasing a house and setting up a sewing room soon…but i am also BEGGING for a hair tutorial! every hairstyle in the video is so cute!
LOVE this!!! You've created such a cohesive look. You may want to become an Amazon affiliate and provide links if you use Amazon. That cling film is an inspiration!
Samantha, like you I have constructed many flat packs with hand tools. Every time I do, I wonder why we do it by hand and men use power tools? I hope you are proud of yourself for following through and producing a room you're happy with. I think the piece of furniture you're looking for would be a set of lingerie drawers. Narrow but high.
I did look for a lingerie drawer but all the ones I found labeled lingerie drawers were actually jewelry cabinets. It was very frustrating. By the time I got around to my other closet I got pretty comfortable with the power tools but I did the sewing room closet while my husband was out of town and even though he showed me how to use them before he left I was convinced I was going to accidentally ruin it with my lack of skills and the hand tools did the job for the most part.
I too, absolutely, love watching room make overs. So a big thank you for making and sharing!
