Imagine the astonishment to learn TOOL’s roots are closer tied to the underground LA comedy scene of the 90s, than to just about any other music scene. Puscifer is - like it or not - the actual Maynard, doing what he wants to do. Just be thankful they separated this material from his output with his other bands. Artists are allowed to be multifaceted, y know
Right?! ..But he is a skilled fighter and pretty fit. Ya ever see that vid of him completely dominating that fan that bumrushed Maynard on stage while performing with tool? Security was late but didn't matter cuz Maynard instantly flipped the dude over and held him in a full body hold so he couldn't move and continued holding and singing into his microphone the entire time without a misstep and the crazed fan seemed to be at peace with it 😆 Maynard has skills So I could absolutely see him utilizing the adrenaline rush of the stage to get a proper workout in as well. Getting work and gym/practice checked off the list at the same time. Average gym-goer would save hours of their life each week doing this and I know tons of ppl that work in some kind of workout while on the clock. It's a "work smarter, not harder" situation. But the result potential could be way higher than average factoring in the extreme euphoria that performing in front of leagues of fans provides. Motivation is hard to come by. Just gotta transmute that shit to be the best you
Fukkk!! I don’t know any of the Puscifer stuff, but tool and Primus were absolutely my soul soundtrack throughout the 90s and 2000s. They’re so different and each so completely fucking epic.
David Bowie is not even dead. He is resurrected after following some of Jesus advice, and building Jerry Lee Lewis ‘s hot rod for him again. He got a free ticket back to the Earth, and hangs out at the ranch with Maynard all the time.

I'm so fucking glad I was able to see them on this tour 11/7/2022 in Montreal. They were firing on all cylinders and I'm so glad I got to hear them play most of Existential Reckoning. Such a banger of an album 👌🏻🙏
Surprised you got video. The show in Madison, WI had all kinds of info about no photos or video. I didn’t want to get ejected so I just kept my phone in my pocket. Trippy ass show for sure!!
Saw this tour (not this particular show) and APC. I don't know if he does it at every show, but Maynard will give blanket permission for people to pull out their phones. Usually on the last song.
I've been a Maynard fan since the first time heard a Tool song. I was late to the party because spent all my time on classic rock as if anything current was lacking any value. The sudden lack of grunge bands had me feeling that rock was dead so I didn't even go to Ozzfest every time my friends made their mosh pit memories. It seemed like they just didn't get it when actually I didn't get to see Korn or Godsmack. All the anger seemed like it was fake when it was only new. There was no time I thought about it in this way years ago but looking back it has to do with me being open to music pushing the envelope and I accepted grunge because younger and "didn't have to see all the violence" as Jason Isbell says in Deathwish. I mention him because artistically he is pushing the envelope differently but equally to the rock genres. A friend drove me home after a Tyson fight and forced me to listen to Opiate. I had him play it like three times in a row and it is the song that made me like that entire time period and the fact I ignored it in real time makes me appreciate it maybe more than it deserves. Music is something that is a part of everyone's life whether they realize it or not. Sound is a very powerful driver of our consciousness, it is something we are aware of because it feels very transparent as it changes our mind or confirms a suspicion. I betcha it plays fair but in my opinion it is responsible for a ton of our subconscious triggers and coping skills. JRR Tolkien credits music with the creation of his universe including Middle Earth. Everything that is problematic in real life is avoided in ancient texts. It's as simple as good could not exist if there were not some bad things allowed by God but the fact bad can occur at random and effect a person that does everything right to an extent that it is disabiling. Thats how evil gets to even exist. God allowing evil to occur instead of stopping it only makes sense if you understand eternity, then in Christianity your told you'll recieve the Holy Ghost. When I stopped thinking I was gonna die young by heart attack or some way that would effect my daughter like was effected then it was noticeably easier to breath and deal with the fact everything may be a hillucination or maybe a daydream of a dolphin. The only way to deal with increasing distraction is to have one thought. You exist in some form or another. You understand how consciousness work by using the only fact we know is true. There is no way you can get around the fact you are God. In Hollywood, you are Neo. Put your boots on guy you get to go behind scenes. I cant imagine being anything but the conductor of an orchestry. That guy gets no respect from me till it becomes apparent your thoughts control the world by using the first computer programming system ever created. It binary code created in the 50's I believe. It created by using a systen of right vs wrong over and over. Good vs bad emotions. Yes vs no questions. It's usually the easiest thing to accept but later on it gets janky. I will talk back to myself and admit this is a fucked up preplanned simulation yada yada yada...so what? You got a job to do. There only one thing that cant be explained. Why? And you have to allow something to have permission to have known control. U1navoidable. Good has won and evil is not following the rules. Just as planned. We need conflict to occur to evolve each day. There not alot of grand conclusions to understanding life. What looks like a cluster of skirmishes and battles are just left over from subconscious warfare. It's not something you wear as a badge. You must work and allow the subconscious conclusions to be made. What should you do that will put minds at ease last night.a
Having wrestled in high school, it’s awesome how all his moves involve wrestling stances. Of course, we all know by now he was a wrestler and his dad a wrestling coach, but he makes it clear with his movements.
How does ones life trajectory lead them to dancing in a black leather alien suit with Maynard? Im not sure if im asking out of genuine curiousity or envy...
They finally came back. Last time Maynard forgot his pen.
Typical...
maybe he was strapped down?
Feet cold, eyes red?
Gyroscopes infrared
Cant remember what they said
Maynard dances with aliens or aliens dance with Maynard🤔
Should i change it? 🤔
Wich concert ?

Pusifer is definitely the most odd side of Maynard for sure lmao
Nah he's always been odd. Back in the Opiate and Undertow days he used to come out on stage painted blue wearing a speedo lol.

Carina Round of Wolverhampton, if I do correctly reckon, my good fellow 🙂

This is the most Maynard thing ever
Maynard has been doing that same dance since '92 and I still love it
From the first EP?
He had to get hip/back surgery because of this dance. The snakey tool dance he did for decades completely ruined his back.
If we’re looking at Maynard from a psychoanalytical perspective, Tool is his Ego, APC is his Superego, and Puscifer is definitely his Id. 😂

The dynamic duo we all need in our live.

This guy is seriously one of the great artists of our time . Everything he does is 1000% committed . Hes awesome
Absolutely!
Maynard is his own genre, species, country, planet. We are so lucky to have touched anything.
You got to think the baxk up dancers never pictured this as their life
The alien on the left definitely gives off that vibe. The alien on the right is just vibing.
Aliens danced with an Alien named Maynard? Family reunion.

Some part of me thinks you put the song title in there to throw people off. Fortunately for me I already knew Maynard was wild
That's just his average Tuesday.
Good to see he's been reunited with his people.
Next you should upload a video of Carina Round dancing herself she got some moves of her own 🤗☺️

Maynards basic dance yoga routine since ‘92! Glad to see the aliens evolving into the groove.
