I am an organ donor and since I have had a great life, I want others to have the same opportunity. Thank you to the grandparents for making that life giving gift. To the father life will go on but they will forever be in your heart. RIP

Brain death is a scam to get your loved ones to turn you over for organ harvesting.
They don’t even anesthetize the poor patient and only administer a paralytic agent to keep you from been able to squirm or move once they cut you open !
Many nurses complain because they see the patients blood pressure and heartbeat rise !
This is because they can fell every single cut while their organs are been removed, it’s absolutely BARBARIC!
You have to be alive and breathing in order to get viable organs.....the insanity of these doctors to push for organ donations is unethical and should be criminal !
I guarantee you , most of these “ organ donors “ knew what was happening to them and couldn’t fight back.
Imagine the pain, agony and horror they endured ......it’s disgusting !

This little man in his short life changed the lives of so many others. And so many people are united because of him. If all of the people who view this register as potential donors now, he will unite and change even more lives. Such a legacy for this perfect little soul. Thank you to his dad and grandparents.

Ugh this is heartbreaking, but also amazing to donate the gift of life! You’ve saved others sweet little boy Reed! Rest in heaven with your mama and prayers to the husband/father! That drunk driver deserves life in prison, TWO consecutive life terms!

In the late 1990's I remember a case on the news where a drunk driver who killed two people got exactly that sentence. I was an 80's child and in the late 80's it started getting serious with commercials 'don't drink and drive." In the 1990's they started making changes to the law where it was no longer paying a quick fine and you're out of jail in two days. In 1993 my home state of TX had a new law where drunk driving would get you arrested an your driver's license suspended for up to six months. Oh and then there's the day in court where you face
a fine, jail time and mandatory education.

When will it become clear to people that they should not ever get in their car under the influence. It does not matter if you have had only 1 or 10, your judgment and reflexes are off. You may think ‘it won’t happen to me’ but do you really want to take a chance and gamble with people’s lives? @@DucatiQueen Diagnosing brain death is a very complex procedure, but the fact that the heart can beat outside of the body,as in heart transplants, does indicate that without viable brain function the person is clinically dead.Though I agree with you that (as with Capital punishment,)mistakes have been made .On the other hand if life support is turned off,the person will die and the body begins to rot. There is only a narrow window of opportunity to obtain organs for transplant, before the body of the deceased person begins to decay.

A MEDIAN BARRIER SHOULDVE BEEN THERE!! In my opinion that poor man should sue the city for now having median barriers installed. These crashes are SO PREVENTABLE and often come down to underprotected roadways/lack of barriers. Drunk driving can be limited by spreading awareness but there’s always going to be oblivious/careless people so drunk drivers will always exist, which means it should be up to the city to prevent drunk driver crashes from being fatal. Cross-median crashes are the most likely to be fatal and they are also the most preventable!!

That's true. How much longer they will live, 1 year, maybe maximum 5? It's selfish and waste of good organs while so many younger peoples are on organ waiting list and might die before receiving transplant. Those peoples maybe have small children to take care of, they maybe never get chance to experience life, maybe they would work to help others or improve life for us all, invent new things. It's always old selfish rich dirt bags who buys their way in front of waiting line and wants to live forever so they can have few more years to pointlessly grab more money. 70 is old enough to have high risk for surgeries and big chance of not recovering or rejecting organs. Old peoples even dies from broken bones and other things what normally have low mortality rate.
