You need to put some blocks (wood) under the rear of the trailer when loading/unloading to keep the trailer from lifting the truck. (many fixed ramps have them built in.)
Very nice setup! We have the same idea as you, got a 333g to start building a home and start a farm but hopefully later run a business with it. What axle rating is your big tex dump trailer if you don't mind me asking? We have a 2x 7k axle dump and didn't want to tempt fate so we are probably going to rent a trailer to get our machine to our property next spring.
Congrats on your purchase, Its a 14k rated dump but I have 14 ply H rated tires on it. It was definitely at the max load. It was about a 2hour trip back to the property with 60mph max zones. Planning to upgrade the trailer soon as well.
It’s a beautiful machine, no issues, very strong. My only complaint is I didn’t get the 333g. The extra 10 hp would probably be better for the forestry mulcher. If I didn’t have that 1 complaint it would be perfect.
