    Congrats Brock! I’ll be living through you as you put that thing to work! Top of my wishlist is a skid steer like that with a forestry mulching head. Power rake would be right there too. You’re gonna have a blast.

    Holy Toledo... that is one heck of a skid steer! Very nice! I'd love to have a small used skid steer for chores around the farm but jeez... they sure hold their value! Ain't in the budget yet... C'mon Powerball! lol One thing I can count on is you do do your due diligence... and when spending that kind of money it pays off! Well done and thanks!

    That brush cutter is made by Branco with the Deere name on it. I also have this same exact machine and the one thing that is going to happen to yours is a hydraulic filter restriction light is going to come on and derate the machine, it’s a big problem with Deere. I’ve been fighting with the dealer for two months now and it still isn’t fixed, even after a $9000 wiring harness, filters, software updates, sensors, you name it. The engineers haven’t figured out how to fix it yet. So good luck, I like the machine, but we are all stuck with this hydraulic issue until they figure it out

    Looks like a nice machine! Congrats. I think it looks fun, but don't predict one in my future. With a full-time job, I don't think I'd ever have enough time to do side jobs (like you mentioned in your previous video) for the machine to pay for itself. So for me, it would just be a HUGE investment for personal use.

    Great choice!! You will do very well with it. Two comments. #1). Get a 60” loftness battleaxe forestry mulcher. That implement will really generate revenue at +/- $400/hr. #2). Don’t let the tracks fool you…. YOU WILL GET STUCK! The ground clearance is super low on these machines. The rubber tracks do not perform anywhere near what steel tracks do!!! Enjoy making income$$$. With this machine. I run a Kubota 75 SVL with a Loftness 60” battle axe. I’ve learned that when running it…… slow is fast with work production. 👍👍👍🔥🔥🔥

    Nice setup, I think you will really like that power rake, you can use it for gravel driveway work as well (I'm sure you already know that though). I'm going to guess that since you have a long gravel driveway that you maintain and are planning on doing that type of work more, the "delayed" attachment is a vibratory roller, which would be a game changer for compacting gravel driveways and pad areas (like in your Quonset hut). I know others may say a mulching head since you got a "high flow" machine, but you could buy a mini excavator (or just about) for the cost of one of those heads, so I'm guessing that might come later 😁.
    Question, can you see the front of the bucket (not just the teeth) when you are sitting normally in that machine?
    This machine will really speed up moving material around for you, enjoy!!

    • @RockhillfarmYT
      @RockhillfarmYT  2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      A vibratory roller would be great but that isn’t what I have ordered
      You can easily see the front edge of the bucket without leaning

    That looks like quite the learning curve, coming from a tractor. I am curious to see the impact it has on the gravel driveway and grass. I just bought a quarter section and the fence was buried in trees so they re fenced 5 feet in again.
