I wouldn't say so. The cartridge is a low cost MM cartridge, with an 8/18 µm elliptical stylus, and the preamp I used seems to be not so Hi-Fi. I already switched to another preamp, which clearly sounds better, and I'm planning on getting another cartridge too.
