So you all know what time it is with this movie! Starring Macaulay Culkin and Joe Pesci in the 1990 Christmas Classic Home Alone! When bratty 8-year-old Kevin McCallister (Macaulay Culkin) acts out the night before a family trip to Paris, his mother (Catherine O'Hara) makes him sleep in the attic. After the McCallisters mistakenly leave for the airport without Kevin, he awakens to an empty house and assumes his wish to have no family has come true. But his excitement sours when he realizes that two con men (Joe Pesci, Daniel Stern) plan to rob the McCallister residence, and that he alone must protect the family home. This is an Absolute classic it really doesn’t get better than this around the holiday season funny funny movie with a great Holiday message!

I remember I loved watching home alone with my family. Home alone 1,2,3 was my favorite movies to watch during Christmas.This brought back great childhood memories.

The reason Fuller did not sleep in the attic, is because Kevin asked their mom to get him to sleep somewhere else. So she let Fuller sleep somewhere else, meaning Kevin slept alone in the attic.
Fun fact: Joe Pesci actually bit Macaulay Culkin’s finger and has a scar from it… he calls it his “Joe Pesci scar” lol

The greatest crime committed in this film was that Kevin didn't get to eat his "Blessed highly nutritious microwavable macaroni and cheese dinner and the people who sold it on sale. Amen.” I love that John Candy and Macaulay were together in this after Uncle Buck, even though they didn't share a scene together. Along with the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, this solidified my love for pizza forever. 🍕🐢🐢🐢🐢

I've always felt Home Alone 1 & 2 are worth it just for all the parts where Marv says "Uh, oh" or screams. :)
To be fair to current year CPS, it's a lot harder for something like this to even HAPPEN these days.
The iPhone really killed so many perfectly good plot setups that are just impossible now.
Their phones would probably save them from oversleeping in the first place. And even if they still somehow all overslept and forgot him, the first thing he'd do if he woke up alone is call or message his parents.
Even back then, it took a series of perfectly aligned mishaps to make the premise happen.

The interior of the house was a school gymnasium. Marv was wearing rubber feet. So no feet were harmed in the making of this film. In the scene where Marv and Harry capture Kevin the Joe Pesci character really bit Kevin’s finger. The scar is still on the finger till today.

I can handle horror movies especially saw but for some reason the nail scene bothers me everytime I see it.
