I did a raptor build way back when it was strongest to pair it with disaster. Clones used to get all disaster benefits, and it was kind of busted. I get why people are mad they changed it, but I'm glad raptor-slugger is now the go-to. Seems a lot more fun too. Tons of agency, instead of just spamming. If my build doesn't pan out, I'll definitely try that next.
lol, raw damage builds will only carry you through the main story. In the post game, where online coop events are common, whether reoccurring ones, or special holiday events, you gotta go with the Clown build on Magician. You have a great pool of debuffs to choose from, as well as support boosts to AI and Player-controlled companions alike. Not to mention clowns get priority on the rare 'water dunk' co-op event for the best loot if you can manage to get it in one go. Given, Disaster and clown pair together really well too, but I like to actually be able to defend myself if an enemy singles me out
Imagine doing a Shaggy build in 2020, lmao. Greedy Grinner builds have way more crit potential and the "I'll Be Taking That One" passive gives you so much gold per enemy.

His head skin's a slightly different color from the rest of his body. This is a normal thing on a lot of people, but for some reason it makes Jerma look like his head's constantly being green screened.

Not many people realise this, and I don't know if it's intended, but some of the faction quests can be started before the Den of Rats. So if you get lucky and find the Toothbrush of 1000 Beasts on early stages of the Wastelands dungeon, you can just join the Feline Lawkeepers and steamroll through the Den. Their sidequests don't offer a lot of gold though, and I think the Mayan Treasure Hunt might become blocked once you join them, so later you'll have to grind a bit more.
Dude, this is genuinely good menu design, especially the audio. It's subtle, but quaint, all the necessary info in a minimalistic fashion. And the extra flashiness with the Destiny preview videos is a great touch, too, it shows the art director has a clear vision in mind. And the seamless character interaction OH BOY I would play the SHIT outta a game like that I came back to the video a year later and fixed a single typo

Another example of DLC completely breaking A game smh ): The Classic Pack gives Jerma A 4th destiny, Chad. Basically Jerma 100% 2012 edition, starting off with nearly maxed in all stats. If you're looking for how to get past the Den Of Rats then there you go, 10 bucks. Smh gaming these days.
The status effect "hoho You missed that one, try another" after completing the Wild West quest line makes the game literally unplayable as a ranged build. Like what even is the purpose of a status effect that makes everything miss? Hope the devs fix this by the next patch.

See, the interesting thing about that status effect is that you can use it to your advantage. If you miss an enemy and hit another you do 800% extra damage due to its hidden effect “Mad Dog’s Draw”. Really good for boss encounters with multiple enemies and it’s great for support classes if you know how to use it. The magician benefits very heavily from this.
I feel like this build is perfect for countering a Vinny, although a Joel would probably steamroll a short wizard jerma. Maybe if an alchemist Kiwo buffed his movement speed he could probably dodge most of Joel's wide sweeping attacks and make up for his relatively low dps by stunlocking him.
Shaggy build fr? Mr. Greenz build is so meta right now its hard to play anything else. Thegold per turn combined with the crushing weight attack? Unimaginable.
It's really strong but I do /not/ have the streamer luck required to pull off a build like that. I'm not a fan of the gambling system in this game, and his "Just One More" perk has ruined more runs than it has saved them, personally speaking. Still, it's one of the more fun Disaster builds out there right now.
Please tell me this is based off an actual game's character customization. I need this character customization screen in my life, no memes. If this was really made by one guy and this is purely original, this should serve as an addition to the resume. Holy shit, this is awesome. Some company hire this person and make them the UI designer. No joke, this is some of the best design I've seen.
It's a little bit bloodborne and a little bit skyrim loading screen. Good for an alpha but that finalize and previous button are clunky. Also thanks :)

I've done UI/UX work in the past, yeah! Big fan of diegetic UI and VR interfaces in general, but I've only been professionally developing for a few years now. Maybe I'll post some stuff I've been doing, game-dev-wise, on this channel, but most of my work (outside of the stuff I do in my freetime) is under NDA.
I like how I never even watched anything from Jerma, yet I get recomended this types of memes all the time. At least I know that his community is genius
I felt it was necessary to compliment your work even before seeing if people had done the same thing so that i could just like and go away like the lazy person that i am, that is how much i liked this.
I think if Jerma were to play this game, he'd probably play best as the disaster. I've noticed he's always getting into trouble, so a class that allows him to utilize that constant danger and chaos would fit his playstyle well.
Absolutely blown away by the quality here, you could tell me jerma did this with full knowledge of the RPG character customization it would be used for and I would believe it.

Actually the idea of negative status effects inflicted on you allows you to do special abilities is a really interesting concept

2020, yet Disaster's "LIFE IS PAIN; I HATE" skill at level 14 STILL hasn't been nerfed for some reason.
Ugh can barely play the game anymore, it’s all just Chads and Disasters. Too much meta-gaming and dlc ruined Jermpg for me
it was nerfed to go to lv 140 now, no actual change to it though.

I'm pretty sure that the Catboy Jerma build has a spell at lvl 11 where it can summon Beanbag Sonic and he could absolutely pulverize a Joel.
