The real problem is the unimaginable number of people who are ready to go for anything just for a hug, a smile or a kind word. It is like a girl falling in love with a seemingly wonderful guy and have a period of time in love only to experience a horrible desperation learning of his true character once she finds out she is pregnant. I'm glad I made the choice I chose to make a few months ago, when multiple muslims were introducing me to islam, and talking so many positive things about it, which was pretty convincing, but I decided to spend one night on doing my own research, seeing what possible bad things there are, or if there are any contradictions, and was disappointed to find they are everywhere, and problems are everywhere, at first I didn't think too much of it as I never really saw the evidence, but once someone in a comment section brought up something and mentioned where to find it, I looked for myself and was pretty shocked, then I started finding out about more people, firstly sam shamoun, then even more ex muslim channels and eventually coming across this one, and this video perfectly described my experience, with hearing only good things, considering joining, but then doing my own research, it's best to research anything before blindly believing it
I am former muslim converted to christian and a woman. It's easy to announce you are muslim, but when you decided to leave, you should hide your new belief. I had been in abusive period when i decided to take off hijab. I would never wished it to anyone.

Another note about the kaaba, the Romans did a detailed survey of the western region of Arabia in the 2nd century and they had no report of any Kaaba, pilgrimage or even any city that would resemble Mecca. How could they leave out such an important religious landmark if it had been there since Abraham?

Do not expect any gratitude for showing your parent the truth. As you must already know, any criticism of the cult is met with hostility. Sometimes with violence. The best strategy is to keep safe until you are independent from your family. Ignore the cult as best you can, and just try to get good grades so you can get to a job/career that you like and will give you financial independence. My brother converted to Islam 10 years ago. He had to marry the Muslim girl that introduced him to the religion. They ended up divorcing after having a very difficult relationship for 2 years, which affected everyone in the family. Now he's married to another Muslim woman having similar issues of violence and her parents very much overseeing their marriage. He has found no true fulfillment nor happiness in all these years he's been a Muslim convert. We hardly see him and he never contacts us unless he needs help. Last time he came y shared the Gospel of Jesus Christ with him and I asked him to pray for God to reveal to him the truth 🙏. He also gave me a copy of the Q'ran and another book that supports the reliability of Islam. We agreed to keep sharing our comments in order to find the truth. I'm an ex-Christian who, to be blunt, isn't interested in converting to Islam (in fact, I find Eastern Rite Catholicism, Baha'i Faith or Buddhism more fascinating) and much less after the plague of jihadism in the Middle East and Africa (not to mention Da'wa in the West) spread in the last century. I'm glad I made the choice I chose to make a few months ago, when multiple muslims were introducing me to islam, and talking so many positive things about it, which was pretty convincing, but I decided to spend one night on doing my own research, seeing what possible bad things there are, or if there are any contradictions, and was disappointed to find they are everywhere, and problems are everywhere, at first I didn't think too much of it as I never really saw the evidence, but once someone in a comment section brought up something and mentioned where to find it, I looked for myself and was pretty shocked, then I started finding out about more people, firstly sam shamoun, then even more ex muslim channels and eventually coming across this one, and this video perfectly described my experience, with hearing only good things, considering joining, but then doing my own research, it's best to research anything before blindly believing it

Another note about the kaaba, the Romans did a detailed survey of the western region of Arabia in the 2nd century and they had no report of any Kaaba, pilgrimage or even any city that would resemble Mecca. Do not expect any gratitude for showing your parent the truth. As you must already know, any criticism of the cult is met with hostility. Sometimes with violence. The best strategy is to keep safe until you are independent from your family. Ignore the cult as best you can, and just try to get good grades so you can get to a job/career that you like and will give you financial independence. My brother converted to Islam 10 years ago. He had to marry the Muslim girl that introduced him to the religion. They ended up divorcing after having a very difficult relationship for 2 years, which affected everyone in the family. Now he's married to another Muslim woman having similar issues of violence and her parents very much overseeing their marriage. He has found no true fulfillment nor happiness in all these years he's been a Muslim convert. We hardly see him and he never contacts us unless he needs help. Last time he came y shared the Gospel of Jesus Christ with him and I asked him to pray for God to reveal to him the truth 🙏. He also gave me a copy of the Q'ran and another book that supports the reliability of Islam. We agreed to keep sharing our comments in order to find the truth. Unfortunately, he hasn't replied to any of my messages 😔. I trust in the Lord and I will keep praying for my brother to be saved, because for God everything is possible 🙏 ✝️.
