I'm seeing that turn order specific metastrategy is important and wow, that's a big claim, you really think it has that kind of depth to be a new meta option, that's wonderful
Played this map for the first time the other day. Capped in the middle. Was left alone while ppl fought for the corners. Cleared one side of 3 players in a turn and got the white flag from the 4th. It was probably one of my first snowballs.
"these settings can't be meta because the turn order is too punishing" I really think this map needs to be played on semi-auto. Being able to protect your capital in the later seats should solve a lot of the issue, I think.
If the caps actually defended then it wouldn’t be an issue. Someone hitting a cap turn 1 will have 5 or less on their cap and be susceptible to losing one of the two they have.
What is better for me, when I have no way to win the game? Quiting in game, directly closing the game, or continue playing untill I get killed... or something else?
Continue playing. Worst case you'll have agency and learn how to come back from a disadvantage, best case you win free games because your opponents make fatal errors.
Pete I would love to watch you play vintage cube, I know it's more on the niche side but would be great content one day a week or something and you get to play with the most powerful cards in magic
I don't think the meta settings are the best settings for this map. Would you consider trying the negotiation game? Caps with blizzards no fog would make a more consistent challenge for every player is my theory. What do you think?
I get the advertisement of your other channel, but Please keep MtGA separate. Arena is too accessible and has become an inescapable dopamine trap for me. Some things are beyond healthy regulation, and I must live without them. Hopefully this request helps others.
I get a period of my life where i dont watch Pete, then a period where i binge watch 5 videos daily.
I like this
SPOILER ENABLER: PETE PLAYS YELLOW
not bluefus!
Look at the stars, look how they shine for you...
😮
An airship video being this short feels illegal
negotiation settings on this map would be interesting to see
Late in the turn order definitely requires different game play than early in the turn order. I don’t think it excludes it from being the new meta.

@ I’ve played this map a lot lately. Took some practice to adapt for the later turn orders.
This map is just so damn fun!
What maps in risk are tourney legal?
Your videos are always so helpful! Thank you for the new knowledge! ✨🍓

Snowballing from the middle is extra special
I love Pete 😊 I usually watch on my big screen TV. Finally get more big maps and I am trying to watch on my phone ironically and can't make it out 😭😭

I really think this map needs to be played on semi-auto. Being able to protect your capital in the later seats should solve a lot of the issue, I think.
Unfortunately, it seems no one under intermediate would want to play semi-alto. That means we'd have to wait a lot to get a 6 human-player match.
If the caps actually defended then it wouldn’t be an issue. Someone hitting a cap turn 1 will have 5 or less on their cap and be susceptible to losing one of the two they have.
I'm down to try it with semi auto
Dude you are so fun to watch. I don't even play risk but watch so many of your vids
pete: PUT TROOPS; ON YOUR CAPITALS
also pete turn 6: 6 cap 😐
obviously this is a unique scenario but it was just funny to me
Hey pete, love mtg and magic arena. Is there any particular reason in only playing limited and not any constructed formats?
when you think the game is still going on and then that guy Pete captures all the capitals.
I thought you cloned yourself for a second
What is better for me, when I have no way to win the game? Quiting in game, directly closing the game, or continue playing untill I get killed... or something else?
Botting out is never the solution. Quitting and accepting your place as last or fighting your way through is far more sportsman-like behavior.
Continue playing. Worst case you'll have agency and learn how to come back from a disadvantage, best case you win free games because your opponents make fatal errors.
Never bot. I've won a few games that my caps have been slammed round 1
Pete I would love to watch you play vintage cube, I know it's more on the niche side but would be great content one day a week or something and you get to play with the most powerful cards in magic
I dont play risk and I watch your content. I used to play alot of MTG so I assume I will follow you there aswell! Cheers!
What a lovely game!
2 Pete's?! Holy cow! 😂😂
Wait till I tell you all about ThreePete

I'm down to try
Fixed caps without blizzards might be a bit spawn heavy on Airship. Interested in experimenting for sure.
Feel like once everyone bots but one player it should offer that player the win right away. Instead of forcing them to clean up 5 bots.
Pete, why did you start another channel. I already spend so much time on your content, how will I explain this to my family?
WATCH MORE
(spoiler)
Is it not tiresome to see people bot so early ? Why do they not surrender ? Love your content!
It is easy to forget to quit if you get a sudden case of violent diarrhea while playing...
@Gold_isHeavy Epidemic of explosive diarrhea amongst risk players: is it bad for the economy ?
@@Nox-gu9cjprobably great for the economy that many people needing to buy fiber so they don't crap themselves anymore 😂😂
I know nothing of MtG, but maybe it's a good excuse to watch and learn at least a bit.
i have only started watching this channel but... do you ever lose? 😉
Oh yeah I lose a ton! Check out the tournament games
GM lobby taken down!
lol
❤
What makes a map meta? Why isn't airship the new meta map?
The meta is decided by everyone

69th Like. Nice.
Day 158 of asking Pete to oil up 🤤
