@@-TheShaun- i prefer it when it's split up, because a gag is supposed to quick, especially in British style of comedy, usually the gag has a reaction delay because our brains don't process the comedic effect quick enough, so to keep the pace of the video up, they split the gag up throughout the video, plus it adds more effect that Sean was really dedicated to going through every single letter of the alphabet, and it makes it seem like they were their for an even longer time, so whilst slower for the audience, its still quick for us.
It is a amazing to hear him. make this joke. People with life-threatening illnesses can develop a great sense of humour about their deaths. It comes to all of us and some of us have to face that earlier than most.

idk if it's bc he genuinely likes her or bc he just likes making fun of her lol, but i love sean's rapport with roisin. with most guests, sean's either mad disassociating or trying to suppress some mild contempt, but he actually engages with roisin whenever she does her comedy bits and joins in on group banter whenever she's the focal point of it. it's quite amusing (and lowkey touching, can't believe i'm saying that about sean lmao) to watch lol
Roisin and Sean was the dream team. They're perfect compliments. Because Sean was extremely self-aware, and most of his jokes involved some amount of playing with the idea of what a "joke" is; there were multiple layers to everything he said. And Roisin is very quickwitted, but it's not an act that she will immediately say whatever she thinks about without considering what that thing is, first. Her best stuff comes from being very good at course-correcting once she's said it and turning it into a handoff to another comedian. And they know that about each other so every time they are paired they have a marvelous time. The "stopcock" thing was probably genuinely that she'd never heard the word at first, but you can immediately see her go "oh I've stepped on his punchline" and proceed to make his pretty mild joke hilarious by trodding the rest of the way over it in the exact middle of its build up. And she finishes with "okay, you got to stopcock, was there anything else?" and Sean has a smile that's his version of her "you absolute monster" moment because he knows that annoyedly recapping that he was suggesting he was a lunatic is funnier than nonchalantly listing the ways he was a lunatic to begin with.

idk if it's bc he genuinely likes her or bc he just likes making fun of her lol, but i love sean's rapport with roisin. with most guests, sean's either mad disassociating or trying to suppress some mild contempt, but he actually engages with roisin whenever she does her comedy bits and joins in on group banter whenever she's the focal point of it. it's quite amusing (and lowkey touching, can't believe i'm saying that about sean lmao) to watch lol

Always loved Sean's dry humour
Roisin and Sean was the dream team. They're perfect compliments.
Because Sean was extremely self-aware, and most of his jokes involved some amount of playing with the idea of what a "joke" is; there were multiple layers to everything he said.
And Roisin is very quickwitted, but it's not an act that she will immediately say whatever she thinks about without considering what that thing is, first. Her best stuff comes from being very good at course-correcting once she's said it and turning it into a handoff to another comedian.
And they know that about each other so every time they are paired they have a marvelous time. The "stopcock" thing was probably genuinely that she'd never heard the word at first, but you can immediately see her go "oh I've stepped on his punchline" and proceed to make his pretty mild joke hilarious by trodding the rest of the way over it in the exact middle of its build up. And she finishes with "okay, you got to stopcock, was there anything else?" and Sean has a smile that's his version of her "you absolute monster" moment because he knows that annoyedly recapping that he was suggesting he was a lunatic is funnier than nonchalantly listing the ways he was a lunatic to begin with.
