Little Women does take a chunk of time to read. It’ll make you laugh. It’ll make you cry. And definitely not a binge read. I’m glad I conquered it though! ❤ I buddy read it with my sister last year. It’s def worth reading.

I read Little Women in like a day and a half when I was in 4th grade because my teacher said I’d never finish it and I’m stubborn/petty 😂 I never thought I’d enjoy historical fiction either, but it’s honestly become one of my favorite genres
You should do a video where you have Ryan pick books based on covers he thinks are cool so you can try new "less pretty books" kinda gives the lesser awesome covered books a chance😂

When you said you didn't read a lot of Historical fiction because 7:02 you thought it would be boring my jaw dropped. Some of the best historical fiction I've ever read is by Alan Gratz. He keeps you intrigued the whole book and the alternating POV's from each character every chapter keeps you on the edge of your seat. I highly highly highly recommend Refugee as the first one to read! There are three different characters whose stories are all set in different time periods, you may think have nothing to do with each other but at the end you find out their stories are all tied together in the most perfect way. Ground zero is also similar set up and is also a fantastic read!

I literallu have both hello beautiful and pineapple street sitting on my tbr right now! They are both from the library. I also have tom lake which I might pick up soon as well- I own that one though, so no pressure on that one. We have very similar taste in books! xoxo

I loved Hello Beautiful, definitely one of my favourite books I’ve read this year. But if you’re feeling like reading literary fiction, I can’t recommend The Heart’s Invisible Furies enough! I read it this year and it’s my favourite book I’ve ever read, it’s so funny, and both heartwarming and heartbreaking, and to me has everything I love reading in a book
GIRLY, I know you mentioned having trouble articulating ur thoughts on literary fiction books because it really is about the human experience and that’s not always easy to describe *but* Jack Edwards just made a video about how to improve ur literary analysis skills that I totally recommend watching to help yourself understand these books better!!
