What best place to get the deadbait from the pond your fishing from or just tackle shop freezer dead bait... i fish a lake that has carp upto 30 and cats that go upto 70 but they only seem to go for luncheon meat, keep getting bovered by bream
Hi, if rules allow use a live bait as that's what I'd go for first but if there not I'd go for mackerel or a whole squid or meat, when it comes to meat I cut a big tin into 4 bits as it stops any attention from carp bream etc, you can get bulk deadbaits from www.onlinebaits.com which work out pretty cheap or willy's worms falling that then the local tackle shop or tescos etc from the fish counter
@@tfgear100probably a daft question but live bait asin a small fish from that pond? And i try big chunks of meat but seems to get eaten to the point where a break can take it.. I don't mind catching carp thats not my issue, just sick of single beeps.. reeling in ten mins later with bream on end.
@@adamdyson375 that'll be the little fish pecking at it then the bream getting it once the bait is small enough, I've had this problem at this lake but instead of bream it's the carp then picking it up. Yes livebait from the lake your fishing and I like to use a good size bait somewhere around 5-6oz as they give off better signals and also a perch preferable as there a lot stronger fish
Yes defo is mate, goes from a good 8th of a tin to average meatball size😂, ill get my float rod out and try for a perch or roach, dont kmow what small fish are in the venue tbh, gonna have to learn float fishing all over again🙄😅 ill buy some squid or liver incase i can't catch a little en😅 thanks for your advice bruce
