This race in Long Beach was 2 hours. The length of our races depend on the event. We have 2 hour races, races that are 2 hours and 45 minutes, 4 hour races, a 10 hour race, and a 12 hour race. To see the length for each race, visit alms.com/schedule/2013
We are going to try our best. No promises. There are a few on tape and a few on DVD. The races on tape take longer to digitize. We will make every effort to get the ALMS Laguna Seca races posted.
This year's Rolex 24 hour at Daytona broadcast is property of GRAND-AM. GRAND-AM has it posted on their website under GRAND-AM TV on the third page. There is a Saturday and Sunday broadcast. Sorry we can't do more for you in regards to the 24 hour at Daytona. To request DVDs of ALMS races, send an email to customerservice@alms.com.
Unfortunately, that would still go against our copyright. We have all of the 2012 ALMS season broadcasts on TH-cam. We are working to upload all other broadcasts.
Thanks, I already knew that. But my question was: to what resolution are the cameras set and if that's not 720p at which point of the way to the audience is it converted to 720p?
I´d like to see ALMS expanding to South America, to a track like San Luis street circuit. And if possible, the race could start in the dark and end in daylight :->
Well this is what you get with this whole Grand Am take over bullshit, lead by NASCAR...ALMS is dead, buried alive, replaced by a crashfest show. And you'd wonder why outside USA this "merge" - basically it's a takeover for everyone who is not naieve - is looked at with multiple facepalms.
Why do they point the camera at the irrelevant classes with barely any competition the P1 2 & PC classes...these classes suck are boring & completely uninteresting, they would get their things handed to them if Audi was here. THEY SHOULD FOCUS MORE ON THE GTE CLASS!!! THAT'S WHERE THE ACTION IS!!...It's no wonder this series was going down hill
John Hindhaugh was a commentator for our ABC broadcast. This is the ESPN3 broadcast.

You gotta love a race series where a 2 hour race is a sprint race
The races are archieved on analog tapes and DVDs? Now I'm gobsmacked.
Thanks to ESPN for posting this race
These BMW aerial cam shots are AWESOME!!!!
Some of our races are on ABC. You can see broadcast details for each race on our schedule: alms.com/schedule/2013

@Ingmar,
The E92 M3 is out of production, they will bring the new F series M3 for replacement either 2014 or 2015.
We broadcast our races at 720p.
Thanks for the upload, I had to miss the race this weekend.
Unfortunately, we hold the copyright and cannot give permission for others to post full races.
It's really cool that you're even trying! Thank you, very much.
Was at this race! BMWs are awesome. If you don't crash in p1 and p2 you get a podium.
Will Hindy be back on ESPN broadcast for Laguna Seca?

How much hours are the race long???
(Sorry for my english im from spain ) :)
In which format do they film the races, 720p, 1080i or 1080p?
John gets anyone energized for a day.
It does need more Hindhaugh

Thanks for uploading, but next time please cut out the commercials. Chrome's Adblock is incapable of doing that :D
15:23 RACE START
THANK YOU
Needs more Hindhaugh

What an incredible race, BMW handled it
Where is John Hindhaugh ?
Good Video
He's in ABC Coverage
ALMS will technically be gone. ALMS and GRAND-AM Rolex Series are merging, and forming USCC (United SportsCar Championship)
thank mate for this share ;)
I think tires and brakes would cool out too much.
BMW the Ultimate Driving Machine...yeahhhhhhhhhhhh
you guys should lobby ABC to put you on the network - they have absolutely nothing going on in the weekend afternoons thanks to ESPN
smh @ 91 viper strategy....they should've won that race.....
Nothing against Hindy, but I always likes Greg Cramer, too! Way better than the guys who did the ABC-broadcast, Johnny O' should stick to driving.
It's endurance racing. It makes F1 look like a rich-boy, metro-sexual sport... wait.. that's what F1 is.
