Was gonna ask how your prop faired with the "grounding", but y'all have the outboard. That's my one complaint about the inboard with the twin keels... That little skeg in front of the prop isn't much protection against whatever debris gets funneled through by the keels.
If I remember correctly we did around 1.1-1.3 gallons per hour with the 8hp two stroke with high thrust propeller. Before the engine swap our diesel engine did 0.5 gallons per hour. We needed the extra storage space though in that engine compartment.

Very agreed. Would really prefer a protected inboard propeller if we had an inboard.
