    Hi ,my poor phone has had a little sea water situation , was not submerged , just in a cross over body canvas cotton phone holder size bag when, then I realised the bag was lower than the shorts I rolled up (barely seconds to retrieve football my dog had left in the sea but just too far for the next wave to bring it to shore ) I was not unduly worried as had heard the rice and silica packets works well.... and the 2 paper notes /currency I also had in the bag were barely damp. Fone was showing opening screen (I didn't bother opening apps (as no data , I only use the wifi back home ) .....thats when I noticed the screen doing this loop ....
    Have covered fone in rice and silica packets in a sealed bag for 48 hrs .... now recharging for 30 mins before attempting the reboot , fingers crossed

      You should always immediately power off and let dry out for a few days. I’d personally take it apart and alcohol swab everything. You’ll lose what water proofing bs it has but better safe than sorry. I accidentally dropped my iPad in the bucket for window washing at the pumps. Freak accident but it was totally submerged lost in this bucket of water. I struggled to turn it off with the wet fingers. You live and you learn.

    I have a brand new (yes in 2021) iPhone 7 Plus. Just opened it today. Stuck in boot loop but only when plugged in. It won’t do anything without being plugged into the charger. Apple themselves could not even get the device to come out of boot loop. And I literally broke the seal today. It is completely brand new phone.

    • @bytefurther
      @bytefurther  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Maybe it's a brand new second-hand phone. Because a boot loop rarely occurs to a completely new iPhone unless you've dropped it down.

    • @drummerdoingstuff5020
      @drummerdoingstuff5020 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      If the battery sits for a long time and drops below a standard voltage it won’t charge so you are basically powering the apple logo and whatnot from the power source. You’ll have to replace the battery or if you’re knowledgeable up it’s voltage where it excepts a charge

    HEY! Do you think you can help me? I managed to plug my phone and to click on restore but it gives me an error message telling me that i cant restore my phone because i have no disk space left on my phone. I also have to mention that i only have two options : to either update my phone OR restore and update my phone. I don't know why I have to update my phone absolutely if i want to restore it (but i have to update AND restore it and can't only restore).
    I think i cannot update my phone because theres no place on it, and because of that i cannot restore and update it (i'd restore it without updating it if i could). I cannot remove stuff from my phone via my phone to update it because im stuck in the loop. I even went on the cloud to delete a bunch of photos (more than enough for an update) but it didnt work, Itunes doesnt seem to recognize it, or at least doesnt recognize those photos aren't on the phone no more.

    iPhone 7 Plus was over-loaded. I ignored the ‘memory full’ messages and continued with taking pictures and videos until it stopped me from taking anymore videos. I tried to delete some old videos from the gallery and then went in to the deleted folder 📂 to delete from there aswell. But it wouldn’t allow me to do that. So I thought turning it off and on would be a good idea. I turned it off. Now the Apple sign comes on and it is stuck on that for the last 3 days. Tried to run the phone out of battery and then switched it back on, but the Apple sign is still there. How can I get it back on without losing my data?!
