- Back with a new installment to the Affordable Kicks series and in this video, I break down what I think is a highly underrated shoe and very similar to the very excellent Air Max 1. Let me know your thoughts in the comments!

Just got a pair and for the price, I find them to be a decent shoe. Found them pretty comfortable straight out of the box surprisingly

I think they are a great shoe for the price, i just bought a pair in this colour purely cause i saw them and thought that is a nice pair of shoes and they look simillar to the nike air max 1 patta monarchs without the hefty price. They are stylish, comfortable, good price and great colour schemes the obsidian blue look awesome too
Agree - this is an all round good option that is also cheap. Not just a good cheap pair of shoes.
How similar are they to the air max ones? Any air unit difference?
@@ic9459 I think the biggest difference is in overall construction and quality of materials. The 1 just feels nicer but the SC are still a solid package at this price!
I had a pair since 2020, lovely shoe
I got them on sale so I thought bargain, I bought women's ones and I thought they looked more like mens trainers. The profile looks cool and like you said the air cushion window is more for show as when I tried them on I didn't feel much bounce in the heel. What let's them down in my opinion is the nylon mesh, I prefer plain material rather than the waffle effect as it makes them look dated buy not in a good way and cheapens their appearance. But.youre right that if this was say leather it would be way more expensive, sometimes it's better to just spend extra to get what you actually want, just my personal preference.
I think you cant go wrong with these in your rotation. it's a good look for the price has the classic airmax 1 look but still is its own sneaker.
100! well said and it helps that the air max 1 isnt always available so it gets you into something similar if you did want that sort of thing
@@3kicksaday I agree. One of the reasons I got em, but also like the air bubble style and the differences compared to the am1. I recently got the red white and grey colorway 🔥

Late and just found out about the Air Max SC. Love the OG looks, but wished they covered the bottom with all rubber to make the last longer. Looks like they cut corner to keep the price lower, but i would have paid $20. more to have full coverage bc the foam is like wearing flip flops on city cement and how long will that last?

Got these from a store locally but not the Nike the website. It is strange how, with these models, the colourways available differ between stores
This is my daily wear shoe and there is only one problem i faced with this. The outer sole is not durable at all. They miss rubber coverage at the prime spots of the sole and it got all smooth within 3 months of wearing them.

Probably not for running - i wouldnt but gym would be fine!
They are selling these as shoes that’s why it’s little bit cheaper. All the Airmax I see are being sold as trainers.

Which Air Max do you recommend, Air Max SC or Air Max Excee?
I'd say SC is slightly better than Excee both in the realms of comfort and quality.
@@Adeel808s I wouldn't necessarily agree with that. Owning both, I would say the Excee is significantly more supportive internally, which for some people might mean "less comfortable", but they do require more wear-in. Overall, I would say the Excee is more rigid/supportive, where the SC is more loose/casual. The materials are about the same, with the main exceptions being that the Excee has more durable rubber soles and slightly better laces. There are also a lot more colorways for the Excee.
Bro i need to know how long will it last if we use twice a week?
There was so much unnecessary fabric inside the shoe and it kept irritating my leg. I ordered 4 of them and all had some flaws. Sad.
Also the sizing is weird. The shoe is very narrow but looks very long
oh no way? My copy wasnt that bad and a lot of others have found some issues with sizing as well
@@3kicksaday I’m also waiting for Nike bolt but so far I did like 15 returns. I only kept Nike sb chron 2 - which look small but fit great and have really good quality. But I also need a sneaker for colder days. They have so many issues. 🤪
I had no issues with them. After they ripped I couldn’t get more as they were out of stock at Sports direct.

yup, they run half a size large.. i went down half a size... i had to sell the first one i bought because of that.. i now own 2..
I got these for 50$ here, but I don't find them comfy, and the air is there just for show, i am returning them...big disappointment

@@3kicksaday can't really find this particular style on Nike anymore just mainly the leather ones. Got a pair with the blue check and all white leather. I wish I didn't trade the ones with the red check with blue trim

I got this colourway with my nike system except the nike tick i don't recommend those the build quality is crappy i understand they are only 54£ even so rubbish the sc i can really recommend super cheap at £57 delivered i have seen them for £80. I literally live in my black and white ones saves my much more expensive nineties and ones and i still get a decent look. It's TL Swede you shown i have issues with on the systems it has a ugly fold its partially exceptable I'm not super fusy i did get them from nike i may decide to send them back knowing me I'll try and get my 67 yr old dad in them I'm actually air max mad but am looking forward to getting some alpha zoom ordered tomorrow i have Jordans why not.4 with double zoom units under the ball of your foot and i love those.
That’s rubbish the build is good mine have worn out and still when it rains it won’t go inside my shoes.
Nike air max sc SUCK! These shoes are not comfortable at all! They are NOT everyday where! I wonder if the people that make these videos actually wear the shoes,use the shoes before making these videos.
