During the holiday season, it will play Silent Night and Away In A Manger, and just played on an organ with no trombones, clarinets, banjo, drums or tuba.
Glad you like it! John Miller (who I've personally met) was behind the improvements to the track. He wanted it to sound more like a Dixieland jazz band and just wanted to make improvements (the old track had compositional flaws with it)! Jenny who is HOTR's Director of Operations really likes the work John did to this and is willing and eager to have him work on future projects! All I am going to say is that they have big things planned!
@@sammorex2543 another thing i'd like to ask seeing as the Franz Josef is soon to undergo a rebuild, do the three sousaphones actually play? If they don't then the bass notes are extremely convincing. Also, are there timpanis somewhere inside the chamber? Some of the sounds it produces don't sound like organ pipes to me.
The spotlights never even worked in the 1993 video showing the Hearse!

That would be interesting! A jazzy dixieland version perhaps?
Ghoulish!!!!! Very very neat track

I've NEVER noticed that tuba on the far right side! It might still need to be worked on, I don't see the "lungs" for lack of a better term, inflating.
Yes, this is one part that has yet to be worked on. Also the fingering on virtually all of the instruments.

And in a lot of older videos the bass notes play a full octave lower than they currently do in some parts.
@@aaronb5060 I assume you are talking about prior to being upgraded?

What was the song played by the Hearse in 1988 during filming of One Man’s Dream?
I do not know but it is some funeral ditty.
