Brandon Stone ikr!! it's like there's a learning curve to this type of music. the first listen it all sounds the same. then you realize it's intricacy is unmatched and that illusion of sameness was your not knowing what to focus on lol
I agree, I mean compare to Avicii who takes one melody and loops it 12 times as the main theme.. braincancer stuff. This is my kind of electronic, and I used to only listen to video game music haha. Also I don't think there's no need for drugs, I'm addicted to goosebumps, and this gives me plenty of it!
A lot of it IS repetitive and boring, honestly. Almost every non-Infected song in the genre does sound the same to me. It sounds like the same kick and drum every time, the same bass, the only thing being different is the occasional synth (which all sound the same to my ears, just playing different melodies) and random vocal samples every so often. Infected Mushroom stand out because they change the formula in every song. You can never predict what comes next. Each track is packed full of sounds you've never heard before. There's a whole range of genres being sampled from to keep the vibe dynamic. They're constantly re-inventing themselves and it's great.

Very nice-touches of glitch-hop and a solid foundation of funk with psychadelic flourish (and not the usual diddy-bum diddy-bum of a lot of psytrance)- awesome!
These guys are so amazing and the music is so unique, I haven't managed to find similar artists (Astrix, 1200micrograms, etc. I feel they go another way) so if you guys know I'd really appreciate. Enjoy your day
Since i found the featuring of IM with Savant - Rise Up/Savant on Mushrooms, i have never again touched another artists music. So i can definitely recommend Savant, if also he is changing genres a lot and it is rather niche music, but still. 1 album every 4.5 months, thats not a lazy guy
Not true. There's an interview where somebody asks to Amit if they have sampled someone but they said no, it's a proper composition based on just piano arrangements. Maybe you find it similar, but it is not.
