Need a 2nd cylinder on other side of tractor bucket, with hinge on saw arm so you can move chainsaw over without moving tractor over. Do you understand?
Thanks 😊 I have a pretty decent variety on here. I try not to do daily vlogs or repetitive videos but more of whole project storyline. Just starting to get more videos recorded here recently now that I do this stuff full time. 😁
I want to do this using my 9" electric pole saw. Not nearly as fancy. but I don't need to go high and don't want to spend the $$ (and hydraulics on the RK 37 are not enough.)
Pretty useless for horizontal topping of branches or tree tops. Can't cut from the underside so you are guaranteed to leave a nasty tear-out on larger limbs. Not convincing me that it cuts faster than a typical gas chainsaw which runs 3x faster. I'll give it a 4 out of 10.
What did the attachment cost if you don't mind me asking?

Be sure to trim those remaining stubs of branches, or you could end up with dead pine trees.
Great info.
Thanks for sharing.
All of those pines are now gone completely. Aunt bought the farm and they decided to take all but one tree down.
Hey...Drill a small hole [after marking the center like you done] and then a larger one and it is much quicker and easier on drill bits.
Interesting channel... how have I not seen you on here before? Interested by the intro. Good editing, good content. Hope I find more on your channel!

@@SwiftOutdoors I'm probably a little more casual leaning towards vlogs, but that's just me being a rookie.
where did you purchase your limb saw? The link in the description does not work.
Ahh I just updated that link in the description. They must have changed it up recently. Should work now. 😁
How do you think the saw setup is going to hold up based on what you've done so far?
Seems to be built really well. I think if anything it would be operator error if it gets messed up.
@@SwiftOutdoors Thanks for the reply!

Ehh. Takes very little effort to snap a regular polesaw with tractor loader. Definitely would need a hinge point for it somehow and be very careful.
A PTO mulcher or flail mower and you wouldn't even have to do any work by hand.
