I'd like to correct you on the Sonic Mania successor part,as far as we know the evening star had absolutely nothing against doing a 2.5D style and even had a prototype of a 2.5D retro engine made for this before they decided to move onto Penny's big breakaway instead, there is also nothing that to suggest that "creative differences" were 99% Sega's fault, especially when Christian Whitehead and Iizuka confirmed that evening star is still on good terms with Sega in an interview during the pre release period of superstars

Correction: Those images of the amiga port of sonic 1 are actually from a fan made tech demo for the amiga made in 1992.
Correction 2: Sister Sonic was still going to have Sonic in the japanese version it is just that fans of the older version of popfull mail sended so much hate letters that they have to put the popful mail characters in it back and they later localized it.

the "bigsleeter" text in your thumbnails can be hard to read due to colors in the background or the thumbnail being busy so the font becomes hard to spot from further away. Maybe change it to a logo of sorts? Just so that the brand is still there but takes up less room and is more readible
