Good luck with your reading these books 📚 and I hope that you stay safe love 💖 John from Australia
Which ones have you read?
You go girl
Cure for dreaming is great and also available on audible
My TBR is QUAKING under the weight of itself...Ahhhh so many books !!
“Christmas basically starts in November “
That is the biggest mood ever. And I’m soooo here for it
November? For me it starts as soon as the stores put out the Halloween candy. Oh look, I guess it's started.😂
Lauren C Yes, Halloween 🎃 decor & Christmas 🎄 decor are sold together 😝
Hailey is why my TBR is infinite
Out of all these books you mentioned, the one that I have read and loved is The Bone Houses! It’s very atmospheric and such a quick read! I really enjoyed it!
You will not regret reading Dracula! I read so many books and it has become one of my favorites. I read it last fall!
I actually just read the Cat Winters book In the Shadow of Blackbirds (the Spanish Flu one, lol), and loved it! Going through a pandemic and reading the book made the book much spookier for sure!
The Starless Sea is one of my all time favourite books! I hope you will enjoy it!
The Bone Houses was an absolutely beautiful story. I was not expecting it and I def cried reading it. Recommended for sure!!
me too... it’s one of my favorites of this year 😭
In the Miss Peregrines series, I believe there are going to be at least 2 more books. Conference of Birds is really good. It keeps you on the edge of your seat.
The first 3 books were good. Number 4 was decent but number 5 was was complete shit.
when you were everything is ABSOLUTELY amazing read it in one sitting 💕
Loved the wicked deep it has been my favourite book so far this year
hey i love ur fall book reccommendations. u r the one who has motivated to read novels. thanks for that. i have a great collection of 1600 books an all.
I agree with you...she is inspiring.
That is great! I love classics. Do you have the book The Prince in your collection?
Gimmeee😳
Fall isn't long- But I'm all about the cozy vibes! I love watching your videos. Right now I just do my TBR and wrap ups and unboxing. But you put out some great videos and they are so good. I love hearing about other books that I may not know about. :D
Reading Howl's Moving Castle by Diana Wynne Jones : ) It is so great. Love it.
I love this one!
Read earlier this month, I loved it too
Read it a few years ago. Loved it so much! 😍
One of my all time favorites
Oooo how does it compare to the movie? Better? Worse?
When you were everything is amazing
'The Thirteenth Tale" by Diane Setterfield is really a good choice for autumn. May I suggest this author's book , "Once Upon a River" for the transition from autumn to winter. It is even better!
Dracula is great! I love the diary format and the perspective of the men are humorous and interesting! Look up when they discovered blood types and when the book was written it is cool!
Kingdom of the Wicked sounds so good! I added it to my TBR.
The Wicked Deep was really good!
bringing down the duke was SOOOO GOOD
From your list, I’ve read Bringing Down the Duke, The Starless Sea and The Library of the Unwritten!
I loved The Starless Sea! It is a slower read, but it is so sumptuous and an ode to book lovers.
Bringing Down the Duke was super fun, I’d sum it up as slightly smutty Darcy and Elizabeth from Pride and Prejudice!
I’m super excited for the sequel for The Library of the Unwritten, it comes out later this year 💛
I looooved The 13Th Tale. This is perfect book for dark fall nights. No fantasy or magic in there, only dark secrets - also very moody and atmospheric read. 5/5 stars! Rebecca also is a good one and I liked Portrait of Dorian Grey - made me to think about beauty - both physical and inner beauty.
Leigh Bardugo is my favorite author of all time as well yay
I loved Addie! It just touched on loneliness, relationships, identity and feeling seen and known. It was beautiful. Whenever someone says they're going to read it, I get excited, because I loved it so much. :D
I already preordered Addie LaRue. Can't wait
Now I’m currently reading Frankenstein because in August I read Dracula and I loved it, probably one of the best books I read this year
The Library of the Unwritten is on my list to read also!! 🙌🏻
Yessss , although there isnt autumn season in India I still love to read something that brings that vibe , couldn't have come in a better time
I LOVE the thirteenth tale! And also Ninth House. They are amazing. Well, I think they are amazing. Edit: Also, if you can, listen to Dracula. I found that it works so much better as an audiobook than printed. I tried reading it a few times and fell asleep on both times, but listening to it made all the difference.
I really enjoyed wathing this TBR! I fully understand that "fall vibe" that you talked about and I'm so here for it!
The War Outside is so good!! One of the best historical fictions I've read
"It makes sense in my head"
So me😅😁
I'm finally going too read the mortal instruments series I'm almost done with book one and I already read the infernal devices so I hope I can read it all
Yes! I just ordered watch over me and I am so excited to read it! Also I am obsessed with the cover as well💕💕💕
I've also been meaning to read The Thirteenth Tale!
Dorian Gray and Dracula are some of my favourites 🥰
happy reading 💗🌿
I’m so excited to hear what you think about They Went Left! It was one of my favorite books of the year, and I couldn’t put it down!
House of salt and sorrows is soo good!
Love all of your videos so much. Can you please do a video for royal recommendations
I'm hoping to read Melmoth by Sarah Perry. My birthday is October 15th so I'm hoping I will be able to get more spooky books for my birthday 😁
I decided to read Dracula this fall as well, and I got the same copy you did 😁😁😁 Love that cover
Awesome TBR! Fall is definitely the best time for reading🍁🍂❤️🧡 I’m currently reading the Seven Realms Series and I hope to read Eliza and Her Monsters, The Deck of Omens, the Monsters Duology by VE Schwab, The Scorpio Races, the Astonishing Color of After, and the Gilded Wolves this fall!
these all sound so interesting!!!
Bone Gap I s the name of the town in that book.
I'm a fan from Philippines Haley 🖐️ I so love youu that almost all of books in my library are from your recommendations ❤️ stay safe always ❣️
I really enjoyed the thirteenth tale. Read it years ago and considering a reread as I can’t remember much of it other than I enjoyed it
I'm hoping to haul the Fabelhaven series in hardback to read in October, but I have a lot of big bills to pay.
The thirteenth tale has been on my tbr for so long lol. I am currently reading the Seven Husband's of Evelyn Hugo so hopefully that'll inspire me to read the thirteenth tale. Also listening to the Diviners and just finished Wolf by Wolf 😍
Thanks for sharing Cat Winter's book. I would love to read more historical fiction set in World War I. 📖
I've read the wicked deep and genuinely did not enjoy it very much, the love was VERY instalove (and I get it, the witches cause that, but it was sickeningly so) and as someone who can never guess what is going to happen I found it very predictable to a fault, like lazy groundwork that just gave it away. The atmosphere was nice though for autumn and it's nice and short so if you think you might stll like it, it's worth a shot!
Im getting ready to start reading the first book of miss parygrenes peculiar children. I think there is 6 of those books.
The Steep and Thorny Way is so good! It is a fun ghost story while also dealing with important topics like racism and homophobia. I haven’t seen many people taking about it which is a shame. Highly recommend!
When you get to Dreamland Burning listen to the audiobook. I personally find it a great route to go.
omg your bookshelf is STUNNING!
Read the wicked deep and loved it, One o my favorites this year.
I DNF'd Ninth House and The Starless Sea. I'm really struggling with fantasy this year.
Agree. We read starless sea in my book club and none of us liked it.
Ninth house was so slow. I slogged through it but tbh it wasn't worth it.
I read a hundred pages or so for both of them and they both failed to intrigue me. I'm glad I didn't miss something good 😂
Malice by John Gwynne, you’re welcome.
Can't wait to read The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue!!
If you like fantasy/sci fi books and you don't mind reading series with very long books (each book has between 800 and 1000 something pages) you should read *The Way of Kings* from Brandon Sanderson as well as *The Wheel of Time* by Robert Jordan. This last one is gonna be a series to be released next year by Amazon and is also similar to Lord Of The Rings. Also you should read *Dune* by Frank Herbert, a movie has been done with people like Timothy Chalamet, Zendaya, Jason Momoa and a lot of other actors and it is gonna be released at the end of this year.
Thanks for the historic fiction and variety of book recs!
Before the ‘Invisible life...’ there was ‘Sudden disappearance of Hope’ by Claire North. I think you should read that first. Also her other novels are very based on very different concepts and very interesting. I hope you could read them too 😁
Oops almost forgot the Catacomb series by Madeline Roux (I think). Spooooookyyyy 😱 Gave me the chills🥶
I swear yo God, you must not skip The Wicked Deep. The plotwist and the ending had my jaw on the floor. It's a fave
You've gotta read Dracula!! Your copy is so beautiful :)
Wow I have added so many books to my goodreads lol
'Bringing Down the Duke' was the highlight of my reading in 2019 and I've already reread it this year.
A great tbr, I need to takes notes when I watch your videos
This is such a good list! Also, I’m reading Rebecca as well! Only on page 30 but it’s really interesting!
I love your recommendation 😍 and also I love fall too just the trees with the beautiful leaves uggg I LOVE THEM
Ninth House is at the top of my reading list for this fall!
I have not read any of those books 😅 there are some though that are on my list to buy/read
I was actually disappointed with Ninth House. I don't feel like it lived up to the hype. I did, however, end up giving it a 3.5/4 because the ending is good, and I would definitely read the sequel because of it. Thanks so much for these videos, Hailey! I'm adding The Library of the Unwritten to my TBR!
I am currently reading Muse of Nightmares. Unfortunately, I wouldn't reccomend Leviathan. The concept seems really cool, but I didn't love the execution. I also though it ended abrubtly.
I’m excited to read Cemetery Boys!
LOVE Cat Winters. Yesternight is another great one of hers
Please do a review on your thoughts on the book Rebecca!! I’m torn if I wanna read it or not so update us please :)
Autumn is my favorite season too!
Cemetery Boys is ❤️ ♥️ ❤️ honesty I read it in less than 2 days. It's so heartwarming and just a complete page turner!
The Thirteenth Tale is one of my favourite books. I hope you love it!
I’m currently reading Rebecca by Daphne Du Maurier and I love it so far!
Hailey your hair looks amazing!!!
the more historical fiction with a fantastical element, the better
I just finished Lovely War by Julie Berry! IT MADE ME FEEL THINGS! I bought it because you seem to really like it and I trust you to recommend great books!
Your hair scarf is so cute and fitting for this season!
I LOVED When We Were Magic! Read it in two sittings! 25 hours. XD One of my favorites for 2020. Also loved The Wicked Deep as well!
I'm currently reading Ninth House by Leigh Bardugo
Took a while for me to get to Ninth House but it was so, so good - started reading and then got the audiobook so I could go back and forth. Super good! Recently read Summer of Salt, too, and found it amazing. Thank you so much for your recs!
Are you going t o do an update about twin travel novel and book of sisters ( that you fantasy novel project rigt lol) .
i literarilly just love the cemetry boys it was so fun to read the book is truly amazing
Good luck with your reading!
Your so pretty✨
never been this early!!! my favorite spooky scary season author is Natasha Preston she got me so good!! My favorite of hers is You Will Be Mine! It’s so gooddddd!!!! Im about to read The Cellar by her!!! 😊😊😊
Keep a habit, it's possible to maintain,
The sharpest weapon is knowledge to gain,
You can't refrain, but you'll be in pain,
Your love can be a drain,
In front of beauty with brain...!
Lots of love and peace, from Navi Mumbai, India
I love your recommendations 💖
I was waiting for this video. Your fall🍂🍂🍂 recommendations are always great. Plus I am also waiting for the bookmas videos for the end of the year 🥰🥰🥰
I need to read the library of the unwritten, I need to get more into fantasy, haven’t found my fantasy mojo ecwec
Okay why do I want to add literally all of these books to my tbr? 😅
I've listened to the audio book for Library of the Unwritten. It was ok, I'd give it 3 out of 5 stars
I am reading house of salt. I love it till now.
Is the diviner's series completed?
Do you keep all your books even if you don’t like them? If I read them and don’t enjoy them I just give them away so my library is filled with books that I’ve loved.
The bone houses is good but honestly ignore the romance part of it, it’s barely there and in my opinion could have been left out. I definitely wanted it to be longer or a series
bone houses is one of my favorite reads of this year! i wish it were a series too😭
Where do u get the literary cookbooks?
How can I find you on goodreads on my kindle? Does anyone know??
