Hmmm. Your vision of stuff is remarkable. Glad you are doing videos again. Amazing!
good to be back, thanks for always being here!
You and Mike rock
ha THANKS!
Ick, just watching fiberglass makes me itch.
Good video, thanks for sharing.
it honestly has never bothered me...I don't know if that's a good thing or a bad thing! ha My dad can't work with it at all, he was itching just stopping over at the house and looking at our progress!
Looks great Marci! Thanks for the shoutout for the steel shop, they appreciate your business.
Thank you kindly! You and your family built quite a brand and one I am proud to associate with!
Here we go again! What a great surprise at the end of the day (here across the pond)
awe, thanks for always being so supportive
A lot of work you definitely keep yourself busy 💪
it was a ton of work...still at it...hopefully will get the body done and get it painted this summer! We can at least camp in it now!
Very nice work! Looking forward to the inside work.
thank you! see you on the next one!
Great work, much apreciated that you share it with us. God bless.
thanks and thanks for always being here!
Great stuff marci detailed to perfection as always x
Thanks so much 😊
Really enjoy your videos have missed the weekly updates but I truly understand how much time it takes to video and then to go through and edit
I just got a bit overwhelmed starting a new biz etc...but back at it now!
@@marcijunebug my wife and myself run a TH-cam farm channel. it makes me appreciate the creators I’ve watched for years. Glad to have you back
Great job
thanks so much!
You’re making progress, I thought of you when we bought our lawn mower this fall, the man we bought it from had a Kom pac sportsman trailer. It’s cool it has a boat built into the top of it. We are still deciding to pull the trigger on it.
DO IT! I Love those little trailers!
You never cease to amaze me with your incredible abilities! Love the birds in the background...
thank you, I'm a hack at best, but usually get the job done! appreciate you being here!
Doing a great job. Old guy auto painter here, if you are gonna paint it a white or light color, maybe a stripe or slash on the front will make any whoop de doos disappear.
thank you! I have a friend that is a great pin stripe guy perhaps I shall need his talents soon! appreciate the feedback
You're such an inspiration. I guess now I have to get up and do something. 🙄
"GET ER DONE"
@@marcijunebug🤣 That could be another Pickle Chip!
Thanks for sharing your knowledge and skills.
don't know how much I really have of either, but thank you!
I think Marci has gone Hollywood. Her clothes actually look serviceable with no rips/tears/stains. Had to look close to verify no AI stand in...... Missed you!
bahaaaa right! I'll have to drag out the ole rattys just to appease all my favorite followers! ha
Nice work ! Looking fwd to more
thank you, thanks for being here, appreciate it
Putting the spare tire on a a pull out slide like a drawer slide would make it nice to access. Ground clearance could be an issue but I can’t tell from my side of the screen. 😊
funny you mention that because I had the same thought when constructing the one I built! the only issue is we were trying not to make the trailer much heavier and even just that little bit I added in added about 150lbs. I would like to tow this with my vw bus once we get it lowered to stock height again (get rid of leaf springs and go back to torsion axle) the slide tracks would have added even more weight so I opted for the bolt on method plus this will serve as a "bump stop" under the trailer should be blow a tire and with a slide I think it would just rip that all apart...who knows a slide might have been better!
with fiberglass you can take some aluminum strips and fiberglass them in on the inside. this will strengthen it a lot so in the future it will not crack as easily. Just c clamp them down and fiberglass over them. Otherwise the old fiberglass may crack again in new places. Yea its not original but original was pretty flimsy so that is why it is the way it is today. Otherwise when you coat the outside with filler to paint it the filler might crack. Original way was to put gel coat in the mold then fiberglass over that. You cant really effectively use gel coat over the outside to get the same original finish. You will need to paint. So the best substitution is filler and paint. But need a more sturdy area to prevent cracking. Aluminum or thin steel (painted with metal rust primer) makes a huge difference on the structure and will make it last a very long time.
yes, all correct, having been an avid sailor for years and having repaired many a fiberglass boat I think we will be in pretty good shape one we are done...just a LOT of work as you know!
Neat^^
it's a pretty cool little camper now that it's done! But wow it was a job
👍🏻🍻
Looking good😍 How’s Pickle ?
thanks, still in the works! You will be seeing him again very soon!
have you given up work on the bus?❤
Not yet! and no plans to!
loved you working on it,making it fantastic again❤@@marcijunebug
What make/model plasma torch do you have?
cheapest one I could find on amazon at the time! I have since acquired a couple of different ones since then but this was the cheap one $169 on amazon! It's a totally generic "cut 50"
Another you tube talk channel. I'm a gonna do this, I'm a gonna do that........
ha, yep, but I do it! can't film every single aspect of the work and at the fiberglassing stages it's difficult to film through the dust and respirators, but ehhh to each his own...plenty of other channels out there! Thanks for the comment I will try to do better!
