This anime is worth watching for the moment this song premieres alone. The moment Finis turns to her abuser and says, "Now everything will disappear," is one of the most chilling moments I've seen in anime. It reminds me of Sayaka Miki's "I've been stupid, so stupid" in Madoka Magica - again just before the character's innocence is destroyed and they become a monster. I didn't actually like this anime that much in general, but full credit where it's due. This moment and this song were AMAZING.

Just finished the anime and this song gave me chills. This was my favorite part of the show, and I would love to hear this performed live! Does anyone know any songs (anime or otherwise) comparable to this in mood or style?
idk but it def sounds like mana or ali project performed it (now it probably wasnt them but maybe look into their stuff if you wana hear vocals akin to this.
its def the sweet side of bitter sweet. we lose our protagonist but know that she will live again as finis's child. as such finis also gets a life purpose and i assume with the song being complete no longer is in immortal suffering and can age again. however she doesn't get to be with this timelines henry. plenty of bitter but i think most of the characters ended on the sweet side. music was incredible and honestly going into my top 5 anime. breathtaking

Such a beautiful but scary song. It's so powerful it makes you not able to stop listening. I don't speak the language but it still is able to entrance me with the menacing but beautiful tone. I love it so much it's one of my favorite songs from the series.
If I had a nickel for every song about ending the world that sounds like something I'd sing on a daily basis, I'd have two nickels. Which isn't much, but if I ever gained the power of song magic, this planet would be done for.

I was honestly so depressed and confused when it ended. Literally cried throughout the whole movie.😂
