  • A 2019 U.N. report found around 1 million plant and animal species could be threatened with extinction, but new research shows climate change could drive that number up to 6 million over the next 50 years. Wildlife ecologist Rae Wynn-Grant joined CBS News to discuss.

    New research?
We've known this since the 1970s.

I wonder if we were one of the species facing immediate extinction whether we'd argue about climate change being a natural occurrence or manmade. Seems to me we should take action eitherway.

      You bet we are.
It works in a cascade effect. One species dies - an average of 50 species become extinct or have to adapt radically to survive (as in predators need to change to favour other species).
So, if millions are under threat, we will become the victims of this cascade effect. It's unavoidable.

    - We live in the same climate as it was 5 million years ago and the cancer will go away -
I have an explanation regarding the cause of the climate change and global warming, it is the travel of the universe to the deep past since May 10, 2010.
Each day starting May 10, 2010 takes us 1000 years to the past of the universe.
Today April 26, 2024 the state of our universe is the same as it was 5 million and 100 thousand years ago.
On october 13, 2026 the state of our universe will be at the point 6 million years in the past.
On june 04, 2051 the state of our universe will be at the point 15 million years in the past.
On june 28, 2092 the state of our universe will be at the point 30 million years in the past.
On april 02, 2147 the state of our universe will be at the point 50 million years in the past.
The result is that the universe is heading back to the point where it started and today we live in the same climate as it was 5 million years ago.
Anyone who does not believe that the climate changed for the reason I mentioned should wait for cancer to disappear very soon because of this reverse movement,
I will explain: the human body's immune system will be stimulated, activated and stronger as a result of this reverse process, which results in the disappearance of the cancer.

@@Debbie-henri no hun, bc unlike you are the rest of the herd, i have watched the weather patterns during my life. ya know there was a reason ancient humans were nomadic. cause the weather was always on the move to. the ice has come and gone repeatedly since then. its a cycle. its not just gonna disappear and its not by decades, they were preaching this in the 60s. give you just a couple more 'decades' and it will have been a century they been saying it.
