Thank you, that was deep.. takes years to understand that, life doesnt give us that understanding early, we must pay the price of mistakes first!

Bob Neufeld's understanding of the Emerson's words are abundant advantage in his audiobooks. I have heard others read Emerson, and the is frequently an incongruency between the reader and the words they read to the detriment of the listener.

Im Sufi Mulim and I believe Emerson was an apostle of God, in the Quran all Nations will have an apostle which peaks their language, Emerson was the apostle for the post-enlightenment secular, rationalist America, and the world. What grand soul he was!

Doesn't the Quran also say that Muhammad ص is the final prophet, after whom none will be sent?

It is " ΑΕΙ ΓΑΡ ΕΥ ΠΙΠΤΟΥΣΟΙ ΔΙΟΣ ΚΥΒΟΙ " actually. Which goes for " "Zeus always succeds when he throughs his dices.."
By that it means that whatever God or Zeus , ΖΕΥΣ does he does it well..

Damn man, too many fucking words! Some say this is great literature, I think it's wasted time that should be consolidated to get to the point quickly. Otherwise, the point gets lost with all the dribble.

I agree with you about much of literature, but I find Ralph waldo emerson concise and his words dripping with content and not drivel.
But I can understand your frustration as much of this is trying to get at stuff poetically, as he does.
It's hisstyle and it's not to your taste. That's fine, follow the integrity of your own heart and mind

You're right that orwell noted how language is losing it's content amd in turn out ability to Express ourselves
