Great review! I always like to see you two, together. Such a beautiful bottle presentation. Sounds like a fantastic scent, but I have not sniffed it, yet. Thanks!
Last workshop I was at was one on boutique teas and blending. I love tea. I have been ecstatic upon hearing about Bois Sikar since I have heard there is a strong Islay peated whisky vibe as well as cigar aroma. I adore the Naomi Goodsir one you compared it to but I only had a sample... I live in the United States and would be most grateful to participate in the full bottle giveaway. Thank you.
Haven’t tried any Atelier Des Ors. Nice looking bottle and fragrance sounds good. Haven’t got a workshop experience yet. Would like to try this out. Thanks✌🏻
Last workshop I was in was for perfume actually! And tomorrow I’m going to art+olfaction’s talk on perfume in ancient Egypt. Can’t wait! This perfume sounds lovely, I bought MMM’s By the Fireplace for my husband for Christmas and the smokiness is wonderful. I’m in California, US.
Very nice review - great info for those of us who would never get the chance to put our nose on this. Favorite white thing I have is a Eddie Bauer t shirt that still looks & fits terrifically. PA, USA Thank You
It's great to see you two again ! I really enjoy the videos with you and Dahlia. My last workshop I attended was a few months ago sculpting from clay and plasteline which reminded a lot of my earlier years in art school. I have been obsessed with Atelier Des Ors lately, with Lune feline being my favorite from what I was able to try. The bottles are amazing. Greetings from Romania!
That has to be a heavy bottle. Love it's style . My two favorites from this house are larmes du desert and cuir sacre . Oh, Iris Fauve is wonderful also . *_life's workshop needs a bit tidying up day to day_* _I go to it from moment to moment_ . Thanks for the chance to win Sebastian . best wishes to the both of you
SMOKE is good! MUSK is good! These vibes are hard to find in the main stream... It seems to be a balanced and interesting scent. I have not tried any of their offerings as of yet. My last workshop that I attended was for Scoutmaster training for Boy Scouts of America... I do live in Southern Illinois... Great as always! THANK YOU
Great review building up on the interview you did with the Atelier Des Ors! Always great to hear Dalya's opinions. M Micallef's Ylang In Gold has gold flakes too :-) The last workshop I participated in was an ICT workshop conducted by Microsoft 4Afrika, for elementary school teachers in Nairobi. My country is Kenya.
Great video, UK subscriber here, took part in a basic introduction to watch repairs workshop recently. It helped me realise I really am more a Wreck-it Ralph than a Fix it Felix !
What a fantastic giveaway Sebastian. Being a psychologist I have to attend a lot of workshops, the last one I went, we talked about the specificities of aging and what is considered the "new" old. Interesting stuff. Portugal here. PS: love the bottle design and tobacco is just up my alley. Good luck to everyone.
Great review. Excited to try the new scents from this house. The last workshop I participated in was a poetry retreat in upstate NY. I live and smell in the US.
I have been in many workshops over the years. Most were based around hobbies and brainstorming ideas on how to make these hobbies more appealing and how to introduce them to a wider audience. I was also involved in quite a few of a different kind of workshop and those were based around learning how to make custom knives by both the stock removal method and by forging. Canada.
The last workshop I participated in was a job search workshop here in Canada 3 years ago. This fragrance should smell awesome based on your review. Thanks Sabastian and Dalya. Great review
I ordered a sample from Lucky Scent and Bois Sikar is amazing!! Great video as well!! Unfortunately, this fragrance follows the trend of over-priced offerings. $275 for 100ml? Definitely kills this fragrance for me.
Last workshop was a drawing class...this sounds like a great fragrance, I did watch your video on the atelier and that was great. The musk sounds amazing as you both described. Thank you for talking about longevity too. Another great review!! Louisiana USA
OMG Sebastian! This is a ka-RAZEy frag! Dalia nailed it when she says "it smells like burning..." I finally got to test it out in the spring wearing a black turtleneck and it's like nothing I've experienced before. I've only ever been in an underground cigar bar once, and the smell definitely takes me back. Cafleurebon did a wonderful job covering all the new releases from ADO. The last workshop I attended was actually one for Reiki Masters! Wow, if I had this scent back then to help with some of my meditations....just wow. Canada.
Sampled 3 fragrances from this house and this is by far the most unique. Really smokey and as you said like a fire place. So far all smokey ones i never liked cause they were too heavy Bois Sikar is beautiful. This mysterious touch... 👍🏻👃🏼
Impressive review. Classy Musk. Sounds wonderful. The last workshop I participated in was a public speaking workshop for work earlier this year. Your's sounds like much more fun! USA.
Thanks for another great review the last workshop I was in was a welding workshop I tried to build a kit car with a pal of mine and we had to spot weld the frame together I'm from the UK
Hey, Sebastian -- greetings from Canada! That bottle... just beautiful! Last workshop I attended was the Guitar Workshop Plus Program in Toronto back in 2011.
Dalya had me at mesquite and burning; my mouth is watering! Sold and sold and sold. I recently participated in a Positive Parenting workshop online. Thanks for the giveaway! I'm in NV, USA.
Last workshop I was in was wood-working class! I made a step stool and a small wooden box, neither of which I kept as they turned out pretty badly. I'm attending a perfumery workshop in SF at the Conservatory of Flowers in a couple of weeks though - hopefully I do better in that one!
You're going to the Tiger Lily Workshop ? That's fantastic ! Atelier des Ors 's Larmes du desert is a wood that slightly reminds me of Jubilation XXV . Fragrance du bois Oud Rouge Intense. At least the sample I got was more in lines with XXV . I've been sampling Diptyque's Tempo . I just picked up a 10 ml from Surrender To Chance. They have a 20% Off today . I forgot the code though. If you ask them, I am sure they would give nit to you .
Yep, I am! Awesome, I found the code - Thanks for the tip! Just picked up decants of Serge Lutens Borneo 1834 and Zoologist Elephant! I really like Tempo - I have a sample at home and when Borneo arrives I'll do a patchouli battle to see which wins a place in my full bottle collection :-)
The last workshop I attended was last week and it's all about how to monitor fasting blood sugar with capillary plasma glucose monitoring with the use of a glucometer. We also learned how to administer insulin to diabetic patients - Manila, Philippines
Last workshop was for mental health support and it was pretty intense. Would love to attend a perfumery workshop but we don't have anything like that here in Orlando, FL, USA. I love the idea of the smokiness and classy musk of this one. Sounds lovely!
My last workshop in April, was quite informal, regarding paint finishes and their reduction. I am a paint geek afterall. This fragrance sounds astounding as I am a total fan of gaiac and tobacco. I would love to be considered worthy of receiving this beautiful juice. I am in the US residing in Pennsylvania, where I perfume myself daily like a proper madman.
Last workshop I was in was a stained glass course last summer. And man, Goldschläger. That brings back some 20 year old memories. I'm in York Pa, soon to be Rhode Island!
This reminds me of my wife's Ylang in Gold which has very fine gold particles rather than flakes. Currently enjoying the smokiness coupled with a creamy drydown of Alexandre.J Argentic. Not sure if it can be called a workshop but attended a few dance sessions last year to prepare a surprise birthday party number. Singapore. Thanks!
I am intrigued but the smoky-boozy character of this fragrance, as well as its luxurious feeling. The most recent workshop I participated (I attend quite a few!) was about how kokedama, a Japanese method of forming a ball of soil covered with moss, on which an ornamental plant grows. I live in EU (France). Thanks ever so much!
Last workshop was last month April 04 about Innovation. Actually I have prepared it and it was excellent and successful one. I’m in Saudi Arabia. Thanks.
Wow dope review, that bottle looks fantastic. The notes sound amazing. Is it smoky sweet? Or smoky burning? The gold flakes are a great touch. The last workshop i participated in was at the school of visual arts, working with 8mm film. Im from San Diego, Ca.
I have not tried any from this house . Would love to try . As usual another great video. Last participated in a workshop about sustainability in architecture around a year back. I am from india
The last workshop I went to was to a Natural Healing workshop. It was very interesting and enjoyable. This fragrance sounds like it is up my alley, smoke tobacco and musk. USA.
Last workshop I attended was on didactic theatre, back in college. That must have been at least 6 years ago. I hope I get to attend a perfume workshop one day. Thank you for this opportunity! (form Germany)
Great video!!! Last workshop I participated in was work related can't really mention what it was for. This fragrance seems very interesting. I would be awesome to try. Watching from Texas USA.
WOW!!! This is very great review and giveaway. If this perfume similar to Naomi Goodsir Bois d"Ascese I will fall in love with Bois Sikar. The last workshop I participated in was about 3 mounth ago- new technology in home appliance. Armenia
First time I get to know of Atelier Des Ors was in this years ESXENCE, the bottles really caught my eyes, name alone Bois Sikar intrigues, really interested in White Collection as really love bright and flowery scents that works for men. Your review guys makes me want this fragrance even more, fantastic review and overview, Bois Sikar is worth a collection spot. To the question, several months ago that would be winter, I been at my countries most know and old handmade, handcrafted chocolate factory, workplace and museum which is UAB Rūta in Lithuania. Even when I am not a huge sugar lover, I really loved the dark chocolate with sea salt, amazing taste, whole experience was awesome because it was full of aromas and scents which we all love and like as fragrance fiends. EU/Lithuania
The last time I participated in a workshop was for my job as an elementary special education teacher. The workshop was about capturing the hearts of students in order to capture their minds as well. It was really good! (Its a different kind of workshop, but a workshop nonetheless, right?) Thank you for the opportunity! Great video, I would love to try it! Anything with a java cedar notes is up my alley. Thanks again!
Last November I participated in workshop that was about incense as raw material in perfumes. I have smelled oils, tinctures and unproccesed incense such as Olibanum, myrrh, oponnax, Oud, elemi and many more. It was a mouthwatering experience. Please count me in! I am from Poland, EU.
The last workshop I participated in was for a cancer survivor event. It was all about methods of healing and meditation. I am a 2 time cancer survivor (breast cancer and colon cancer), and I found the workshop to be so incredibly healing and inspiring. By the way, this fragrance sounds AH-MAZING! I love that it has nutmeg, gaiaic wood and tobacco. I really like smoky fragrances! I live in the US.
It's good to see you both ! Oh what a gorgeous bottle ! And the fragrance seems gorgeous and interesting too ! I have to explore this brand !!!! And the name is elegant !
The last time I participated in a workshop was many years ago. And it was about arts (paintings, sculptures). Bois Sikar sounds fabulously. I would very love to win it. The perfume bottles of Atelier Des Ors are so impressive. Unfortunately I have never had a chance to try any of those. Thank you for the chance. I live in Serbia.
sounds delicious! I'm in the US, and the last workshop I was involved with kinda goes with the theme of Atelier Des Ors actually... It was a metal engraving/carving workshop where I learned (and did) my first gold inlay in a coin.
Great review man! Last time I was at a workshop it was a introduction to salsa dancing with my girlfriend a few months back, lots of fun. I love that bottle so pretty and it definitely sounds interesting I hope I get a chance to try this one out at some point. Keep up the good work man!
These bottles are insane - this is one of those ones I know I'd sniff the atomiser on every time I open my fragrance cupboard just to check on my bottles. The last time I participated in a workshop was a while ago - back in 2015 I did a full day of darkroom film developing and printing! Met some really nice people and actually managed to develop and print my own film really well on first try! I'm in the UK
Drydown smells like clothes after a night out by a campfire that used firewood and branches to keep lit all night. I get a very small faint cigar like smell in the backround. Also on begining it might smell like a BBQ grill or pitt. Basically a grill masters scent.
Huge fan of Atelier Des Ors - i do own 100ml of Rose Omeyyade and 20ml decant of Iris Fauve-one of the top 3 iris fragrances for the past 2 years imo.I also like a lot Lune Feline , but to be honest sillage and projection are below average on my skin.Authentic Traditional Thai food Workshops - mid. feb. in Virginia and last week in London, and no-i'm not a cook,i just love thai food..Virginia USA/London UK
I was in an arts & crafts workshop a bazillion years ago :) I have a sample of Rose Omeyyade & a decant of Lune Feline & enjoy them both . Looking forward to your reviews of the white collection . Thank you for the giveaway . NYC USA

Hey! Great review as always! As for workshop, it was for forever living and learning the ladder of selling products to people. I am from the UK IN SCOTLAND and would love to have my first full bottle of a niche fragrance as all I can afford are decants and a good way of trying so many out at same time. Thanks for the oppurnity and hope I win lol! Cheers Seb!
This sounds like the kind of scent that would make my eyes roll into the back of my head. That's rare, but when it happeneds... Oh, boy... Lol Last workshop I took part in was in candle making. I know.. don't know if that counts. At any rate thanks for the opportunity to win & also for the great video (as usual). I'm in the United States. I'll definitely be checking this house out.
The last workshop attended was about 3 years ago, and it was related to plant based, whole food nutrition. I would love to be entered in your giveaway. I live in Seattle ,Washington . Thank you so much for the opportunity to be entered in your giveaway.
Just realized that Atelier Des Ors is a different brand from Atelier Cologne. I thought it was a like a prive or exclusive line. Nevertheless this sound like it smell great. The last workshop I did was a financial and consumer advocate workshop. I would love to win this fragrance. USA
Luxurious smoky fragrance? Damn that sounds really good. Also it has tobacco inside and that bottle looks so sexy. OMG, i'm dying to try this one. Btw i think i've heard about this one before on Jeremy Fragrance video, and this one also his most favorite one from the brand. I don't remember exactly when is my last workshop, but its about essential oils. Palu, Indonesia

I took a workshop on metalsmithing last year, does that count? Great review, thanks guys. New York USA
GREAT REVIEW. My last workshop was about internet Marketing for Real Estate. USA. Thank you for such great and informative videos.
"Bois Sikar" sound wonderfully. I don't remember if I ever participated in a workshop. I live in Romania. Thank you.

Oh, boy... Lol

Is this a similar smell with Maison Margiela by the Fireplace ?
i signed up for a photography work shop about 2 years ago. had bought a complicated DSL camera, and wanted to know just basic operation.
the notes in the fragrance remind me a lot of "by the fireplace". i love that parfum, but have yet to purchase it. i hope i can win this brand U.S.A.

Sounds very woody. I don't like smoked foods but love smokey fragrances. I just went to a poetry/nature-writing workshop a couple weeks ago. It was a couple days after a friend died, who was a poet and a horseman, too. I wrote my heart out. I'm in USA.
I attend a CPR workshop in March
